Well Body Naturals 100% Pure D-Ribose Powder 100 Grams - Pharmaceutical USP Grade

Like a lot of other reviewers, I'm dealing with some health complications, including CFS and RA along with heart problems. Energy is my biggest problem, or rather a lack of it, and I've tried all sorts of things to boost it to a functional level. This has definitely worked the best! (close second is l-tyrosine [thyroid] & l-glutamine [gut]) It isn't like a caffeine boost; it feels more like things are once again working at a basic level for basic functions like circulation.Please note if you have issues with hypoglycemia or diabetes, you need to be extremely, extremely careful with this, as it triggers insulin and drops blood sugar. I started with a very low does with food and could still feel the blood sugar drops. Now I take it with juice, which seems to have taken care of that problem.I also had several other odd side effects, which are probably unique to my sensitive body, the biggest ones being muscle spasms and hot flashes. I don't think these are specifically from the product but rather the processes in the body the d-ribose jumpstarts. Also, if I take the 3rd dose too late in the day, I have sleep problems. I just upped my magnesium and changed the dose time.Other than that, it kicked in very quickly; I could tell a difference within a few days. It has a pleasant taste, and once it goes in the juice I can't taste it anyway. Taking this has definitely worked out very, very well. I'm praying that it continues to work long term, as things I've tried in the past often tend to have a short boost of 1-3 months then stop working.

I’ve been on ribose for over ten years now (!) to treat chronic fatigue from various autoimmune disease. This is my favorite ribose by far, due to its price for the amount you get, and that it’s made in USA. I just wish it were available on amazon prime!I’ve tried them all, and this one is fantastic. Many ribose supplements available at vitamin retailers are the same price as a kilo of this one, for about 1/4 the amount!After going off all my medications (most of which were to treat side effects of the medications prescribed to help my pain, which weren’t working to begin with), I discovered ribose. It truly gave me a new lease on life. I never had energy to do ANYTHING after work or on weekends. And that was sad because I was in my 20s at the time.Taking ribose had me socializing, exercising, even hiking within months of first taking it. I noticed my muscle pain and spams lessening in as little as a week.Now, ten years later, I recommend this to anyone with diminished energy or chronic pain. I wonder where I would be if I never heard of it?I take 3 teaspoons mixed in a pitcher of water which I drink throughout the day. Whenever I’m on vacation or somehow skip taking it, I always notice the difference in about a week, so I try not to lapse. I don’t take any other supplements regularly like I take this one. I’m mostly gluten free and I’m strictly vegan, and occasionally I cycle through some adaptogens in my daily smoothies. But I owe it to ribose for the life I’ve been able to live and I can not recommend it enough!

I've been on d-ribose a few months for my ME/CFS, dr's orders. I find it makes a huge difference! I noticed it varies a lot in price and I decided to try some low-cost options in hopes it would turn out ok, and YES, you really can get a good ribose for a low price! This stuff is awesome! I had a bag from Bulk Supplements last time that didn't do much for my energy and didn't have the caramelly taste I had noticed in the more expensive ones I tried before. When I took my first sip of this stuff, there was the caramel that had been missing from the other stuff. And vrooom, there was the energy boost! And this costs less too, so what's not to love? I'm so over Bulk Supplements no- I'm on team WellBody Naturals!Update: Just got my second bag. Along with using up the first bag, I had got a couple expensive tubs of d-ribose, one (Healthy Origins) on the advice of a fellow ME patient, and the other (Nutri-Health Supplements D-ribose Gold) on the advice of a healthcare practitioner, plus at one point I foolishly ran out and had to buy whatever the local health store (yes that's singular... very rural here) had (which was Now Sports). I switched back & forth between the various products, and I really could not tell a difference. If I forgot my second dose I felt wiped out for sure, I notice that difference! but I mean I couldn't see any change whether I used the costlier stuff or this. So I feel very secure in choosing this (MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE!) option now that I gave other brands a fair shot.

Package arrived in good condition, nice, opaque bag to keep it fresh but the stay fresh seal at top is terrible, which is why I am taking one star off. Doesn't work--I rubber band it and use an outer airtight (zip-lock) bag to store it. Even with my due diligence, I am finding loose granules in the outer bag. It is a large quantity so I hesitate to move it to a glass jar, which is clear and not opaque. Plus this would be quite messy. The product itself seems fine. I like that it is pure, with no other ingredients. Seems to be a good quality product. I have only used it for a few days and have not noticed any difference but will continue. I don't have any health issues, just taking it to stay healthy.

This is the best D-Ribose I've used. I have adrenal fatigue which causes me to perform very poorly at crossfit. This stuff takes the load off the heart and I can get more oxygen into my body. I've had this D-ribose for just 3 days and I take 15 grams just before the workout and the improvement is incredible. On off days, I plan to take 5 grams 3 times daily. This is pure d-ribose with no fillers and its made in the USA, unlike BioEnergy Ribose which comes from China. BioEnergy ribose is okay I guess, but this WellBody Naturals ribose has me very excited about my fitness future. I definitely will buy this brand from now on.
