Absolutely must have. Amazing taste really versatile for all sorts of cuisine signatures, really thick so try getting a feel by adding little by little first, keeps really well in the fridge.

First time trying this sauce. We eat A LOT of rice and wanted a large bottle that we could just pour as required, so this was ideal. Once opened, it has an 8 week life, so no worry about wasting any. I suppose taste is an individual thing. I prefer a more sour kick which this didn't really have. It was just sweet. Quite a fruity flavour. It was nice, it didn't put us off eating it. Might try adding a splash of vinegar next time.

I've mentioned elsewhere in reviews that I love world foods with Indian and Chinese food my go to, when I don't feel like British staples. Sauces in dishes help enormously of course and I was starting to get a little tired of paying for tiny sachets of cooking sauces (when rushed, rather than making from scratch), so figured I'd get one or two 'industrial' sized bottle's full. Hoi Sin and Sweet and Sour being the most cooked with. This sauce is terrific in a stir fry or any oriental dish (try with some honey and lemon with a touch of rice wine to dilute down), for an authentic 'proper' home made dish, just be aware it's a bit salty so watch out for quantities and you should be fine, so no more exorbitant sachets for me and a happy set of taste buds.

Now most people buying this probably expect something with chunks, honestly most will likely think of the sweet chili sauce when buying this. This is a pure sauce, no chunks. Its sweet and sour, great with vegetables and fruits as well as light meats like chicken a bit meh on its own but that's also not how you use it

Ich hatte schon kleinere Mengen, aber bin so zufrieden, dass ich dieses Mal die große kaufte. Kräftiger, aber nicht penetranter Geschmack. Eignet sich nicht nur für asiatische Gerichte, sondern auch zum Abschmecken z.B. für kräftige Eintöpfe. Oder für selbstgemachte BBQ Saucen.

J'avais pris la sauce Chili Thai, vu que la cantonaise etait absente. Pas mauvaise, piquante mais un trop fort gout d'ail séché qui fini par dominer. La sauce Peking en revanche est juste follement delicieuse: elle est pour moi parfaite en accompagnement de viande, de nouilles, de legumes, de tout en fait....même si il a fallut un mois d'attente par rapport au reste du colis, je pense sincèrement en recommander.
