Worked on my 2002 Honda XR 70
Shock is a direct replacement. It’s about a quarter inch shorter than the original shock but it doesn’t make enough difference in the height of the bike to matter. The spring is Softer than stock, but it is adjustable, so it can be stiffened up. I would say the spring is more accurate for a kid that fits the bike than the stock shock.

good product
Well made. Spring too soft for at first but correctable with stronger one.

Not great but works 🤷
This shock and spring fit perfectly into a 2003 Honda XR70. It was a little soft for adults but perfect for kids on the low setting and was good for adults on the stiffest setting and rode great... Then a few adults decided to have some fun and do a few times trial laps on a kids whoop track, this resulted in blowing out the shock seals which sprayed oil all over the inside of the bike. I imagine this is great for kids on the kids bike and likely wouldn't have blown out maybe? But don't use this shock on a kids bike to be a pit bike for adults because it can't take the abuse

Perfect for my Crf50 clone
This rear shock was perfect for my 50 clone (SSR 70). It has a stiffer spring weight, a nice shock that actually dampens, and it raised the back of the bike just a hair. Ideal fitment may include grinding a tiny amount of the mounting tab for clearance, but it is not needed. Overall for the price I am very happy, it was a huge improvement from the stock ride quality. I’m 165 pounds and the spring seems about perfect on the lowest setting, so this would likely also work great for those who are 200+ pounds.

Fits the xr / crf 70cc bikes
This shock if perfect for a replacement. I put it on an xr70 the oem was shot.this shock is slightly softer than the stock on the lowest spring tension. I'm about 190lbs and I almost bottoms out on the lowest tension. It works great for a 80bls child.

Too soft
50 squatted with no one on it. Maybe if your kid weighs 30 pounds this will work.

Replaced rear shock on 1987 Honda Urban Express moped
Great shock with better support options. Was a bit longer than factory so the rear tire is pushed down further but served its purpose as a working replacement for a larger rider.
