Avvel International iBeacon Bluetooth Low Energy BLE 4.0-75 Metres (Long Range)

After several apps, I could only find the iBeacon on one occasion, and never more. It's like the battery is dead?UPDATE: I found out, after I dropped the iBeacon, that it activates through very hard movement, like a drop indeed! I'm now able to change settings and use it normally. But I can't give it more than 3 stars because I had to drop it to find it out...

BTSmart device for the Internet of Things! Works for ages on a single battery.

So far i have spent 2 days trying to configure this device. The documentation provided bears no relation to my actual experience. Possibly I have a faulty device, but the documentation is so vague that it is hard to tell. It may be that if everything goes right, you can sail through this configuration experience, but when it goes wrong you are lost. There is a company support service, and they respond pretty quickly, but i found their answers pretty useless. they just refer you to the documentation which has already failed to answer your questions.Update: I did finally get it working. I had to delete the associated app and re-install it (I have no idea why that worked and the support were no help)

Got the product, the instructions are too vague and i’m completely stuck. I have absolutely no idea how to get the beacon to push a message to phones within range.
