'Vanessa' written by Dr. Heera Unnithan was a delight from the beginning and kept me intrigued as the story kept on building. The poetic description of the situations and environment in the book brought back so many FACT days memories for me. The characters were written so meticulously that I wish they were real. Which also leads me to wonder if Heera has indeed referenced a few real ones. With this fascinating search and wonder, I truly enjoyed and cherished my experience reading Vanessa.

Vanessa is an outstanding novel..A beautiful story of three friends Ram , Priya and Meera..The narration goes between present and past so as a reader you are full immersed in to how each characters are dealing with current situation..couldn’t put it down once I started reading …loved it.

Vanessa is the story of three friends who come together right from school days, we watch them grow up, we share their joys and heartbreaks. The book managed to keep me engrossed as I kept turning the pages and accompanied Meera, Ram and Priya in their journey through life. And being a hopeless romantic myself, I have to say I really liked the end.

A beautiful. love story, and weaved into its fabric the little insights and philosophies of life, so subtle and yet so true.

A must buy. Couldn’t put it down once I started reading.

Good flow, Good language and a romantic story nicely presented. Could really relive the golden era of FACT township life of eighties. Story interspersed with philosophical thinkings of the author really appreciated.
