I recently purchased the Tall Glass Microwave Splatter Cover, and I have to say it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. This product is exactly what I needed to make microwaving food a cleaner and more efficient process.First and foremost, the design of this splatter cover is fantastic. The 10-inch size is perfect for covering a variety of dishes, from large plates to small bowls. The tall glass construction ensures that steam is contained effectively, which means fewer messy microwave clean-ups. I appreciate that the glass is clear, allowing me to monitor my food without removing the cover.The easy-grip silicone handle knob is a brilliant addition. It makes it simple to place and remove the cover without burning my hands, even when the microwave is hot. The knob is sturdy and stays securely in place, which gives me confidence that the cover won’t slip off during microwaving.Another significant plus is that this splatter cover is made from 100% food-grade, BPA-free materials. Knowing that it’s safe for my family’s use gives me peace of mind. Additionally, the fact that it’s dishwasher safe is a huge convenience. After use, I just toss it in the dishwasher, and it comes out clean and ready for the next use.

I have owned this for less than a week and use it daily. So far, so good! I got it as replacement for a plastic cover after reading about the possible negative health impact.The few negative reviews about this product pertain to the plastic screw deteriorating over time. I've decided to only handwash mine to eliminate one factor that might contribute to this deterioration. I'll update my review if I experience this issue.

Tall enough not to touch food. A bit heavy and more condensation than the plastic one with more vent openings.

Cover is as described, made of glass, with a handle on top. It works great and I love having a clean microwave with no splatters! It covers plates and bowls nicely and I wish I had had one made of glass years ago.

Really like this cover. I pick up and use it by the side handles instead of the top. It’s heavy enough to work well (not thin borosilicate) and i do set it on silicone pads when not in use.

The microwave plate cover helps keep my microwave clean when heating up food. The silicone handle makes it easy for even kids to use. Great value and fits well on most dinner plates and bowl.

This works for sure. Same as my plastic old model BUT:- This is very heavy- This stays hot long (mass x temperature)- The handle is not very solid. It holds only by a rubber piece that goes in. This could fall at any time, and from others' reviews, it does over time.- only 2 (or 4 maybe, but I think 2) holes on the side for ventilation. So this is great if you want to steam something, but for a standard reheating of cooking something, the food might end up too wet.

Perfect glass splatter protector for food in the microwave. Love the silicone handle. Great height to fit over plates and bowls. Also love that it doesn’t have a logo and is simply glass with a black handle.
