Bought this so I would hear my doorbell when I'm in my office. It's quieter than I thought it would be, but that's not necessarily a bad thing

Once adopted, works perfectly! Probably the easiest thing I've set up in the ubiquiti ecosystem

Thes are great chimes once you get them online. They are a bit fiddly to get fired up. I have had to reset them a few times and realized late in the programming of 15 or so of these that proximity of your bluetooth device programming makes a difference.

So, I got the Ubiquiti UP-CHIME-US, aka “the wireless plug-and-play notification perp alarm speaker device” — which, if you ask me, sounds way more intense than it really is. Spoiler alert: it’s basically a doorbell. A really good, polite doorbell. It sits there quietly, minding its own business, until ding-dong — someone dares to ring it. Then it chimes with the enthusiasm of a butler announcing your arrival. No fancy jingles, no awkward melodies—just a straightforward beep that says, “Hey, someone’s at the door. You might want to get off the couch.” Setup was so easy, it made me suspicious. No apps, no tangled wires—just plug it in and boom, doorbell ready to go. It’s like the Tesla of doorbells, minus the autopilot and questionable price tag. Does it work? Yes. Does it annoy the dog? Absolutely. Does it make me feel a bit fancy? You bet. This doorbell’s not trying to win any popularity contests with its subtle charm, but it gets the job done without drama. So, if you want a doorbell that just does its job and doesn’t try to be a disco ball or a smart assistant, this is your gadget. Five stars because sometimes simple is exactly what you need.

Much better than using.the relays and old school doorbell

The set up and product quality are easy and excellent. BUT the max volume level is so low, and there are no chime options, that it's actually useless. Ubiquiti must address this urgently.

Great chime. Would suggest you take a look at YouTube video before installing if you replacing an old doorbell chime. If it’s a new build- easy installation! I had previous old fashioned chime. I couldn’t have installed this great UniFi chime without the YouTube video!

Too quiet to be useful. No connections issues issues that I know of. Difficult to know for sure as we can’t hear the thing if there are any other noises in the house.
