The package was missing the mesh bag and accessories- this was costly and missing half of the parts to make it useful.

The first spear I got broke after the first use but after contacting dr fish they got back right away and sent a replacement. It seems to be better but I’m yet to use it. Great customer service is hard to beat so I would recommend.

I bought the spare gun for 70 bucks. Took it spearfishing. Most fun you could possibly have for 70 bucks. Took it out. Easy to use. After about 10 minutes my kids wanted to use it. Should’ve bought one for each kid. Quality was good.

At first, this pole seemed like a solid lightweight option with a decent tip, but when I took it to the water for the first time, the threaded end snapped in one spot. I think it happened because the pole is pretty thin. When I was pulling the rubber, the pole bent a lot, so I feel like the manufacturer needs to beef up the thickness and the threaded connection. I’ve been using a Hawaiian pole speargun with a trigger and one band for about three years without any problems, and I got this new one just in case something happened to the Hawaiian. For now, I’m sticking with my trusty old pole.

A lot of times lightweight means light duty. This is light weight, but it does not feel light duty. I have yet to poke a fish with it, but just using it in the yard had me smiling. It packs down fairly small (it will still poke out of my backpack) so it can ride in the same bag you take fishing. I would recommend this for someone that enjoys lightweight fishing adventures!
