High quality piano sound very portable and easy to fit.
This piano has a very authentic clear sparkling and responsive piano sound. It has the most genuine piano sound of any electric keyboard I've owned. It takes getting used to. Sometimes it needs a gentler touch to get the sound you want. The speakers are pretty good sounding, but through a decent quality set of headphones it sounds even better without bothering anyone and it sounds good through my keyboard amp too. Some of the other sounds it has are nice enough but sound setting for piano 1 (Italian Grand Piano) is mostly all I use. It is the most state of the art in quality. It is so light to carry, but I just leave it on a keyboard stand ready to play.

Amazing value for money
I rarely give 5-star reviews, but the Korg Liano really is exceptional value for money. The sound beats Roland and Kawai piano sounds for just being a keyboard. I've dialed up sensitivity to maximum. The lightness of the keyboard is where it shines; it's so light and easy to pack up and store in tight spaces. The perfect gig bag is: the Yamaha YBPN76 : It's for a 76-key keyboard, but fits this 88 keyboard perfectly (very snug. Can find it at Guitar Center). The fact that the 88 keyboard fits in 76 keyboard bag tells you how slim it also is.

Quality sound and build good beginner to intermediate piece of equipment
Holiday gift for my kids they love it the money here is not applied towards synth features but you do get enough piano sounds to keep it interesting. The money is spent on high quality full size piano with pressure sensitive keys and midi capabilities if you are so inclined

Great keyboard but not for serious performances
The piano sound is fantastic, much better than most keyboards in this class. The built-in speakers put out a pretty good sound that would be adequate for small rehearsals, jam sessions, and practicing alone. The light touch would make it an excellent learning piano for a child. Unfortunately none of the key velocity response curves respond in a natural way, which makes it hard for me to play with the same dynamics I get with my fully weighted keyboard. Also the lack of a separate 1/4-inch audio output is a drag, forcing you to use the 1/8-inch headphone jack to connect to a PA. The Liano is incredibly lightweight. I can pick it up with one hand. This makes it easy to stash in your car when you're going to a party or gathering where you want to be prepared for a spontaneous jam session or sing-along. Just set it on any table or desk (or possibly even your lap!) and you're good to go. I was able to make a semi-hard case out of double rifle case! The Liano *barely* fits in a Flambeau 6499NZ (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0007AB38Q) with the foam removed and replaced with pads around the sides, and the top and bottom lined with felt. It won't protect the keyboard from rough handling, but it'll keep it from getting scratched up when you take it places.

Beginner raves about 88 key Korg Liano
Lots of beginner piano reviews say that you must have hammer action, fully weighted keys. As an older adult beginner I followed this advice and found that the action was too loud and distracting when practicing with headphones. Also that piano had hundreds of sounds that I would never use. Sold that and got the Korg Liano at half the price. The semi weighted keys have a great feel are quiet and are adjustable for touch. The piano only weighs 13.5 lbs and runs on 6 AA batteries so I can practice anywhere. The built in sounds are good, especially the primary piano. The Liano can connect to phone or tablet and can play hundreds of free sound files available for download on the web. I have been playing for 2 years and the Liano for a year and I consider the Liano to be the perfect beginner and beyond 88 key piano . If you want to watch a great video on “How to Choose the Best Piano Keyboard”, look on YouTube for Pianoman Steve; I also recommend his 28 day crash course on learning piano.

It's a great keyboard
I really like this Korg Liano. For me it works. For you it may not depending on your needs are. What I will say is that it lives up to the claims you've seen on a lot of the YouTube videos. If you haven't yet check out Jeremy See's review on this keyboard he breaks the pros & cons down really good for this keyboard and is very accurate. It has the bread & butter sounds that you would need in a live setting but if your looking for 600+ voices, look elsewhere. I've tested the grand piano against several pianos including my high end Yamaha workstation and it holds up very nicely. So the piano rocks. Personally I don't use the pipe organ but it's a good sounding organ, for church settings or weddings. The one drawback to me is the almost useless "reverb" effect. It's there but barely. The included damper/sustain pedal is just junk but with a good sustain pedal the function works great. I got the blue one and it's beautiful 😍 The action is somewhere between a synth & a regular piano and I like it for my older fingers itsjust right. It would have been nice if Korg included dedicated L & R output jacks but for me its not a deal breaker, the headphone jack works okay with the proper 1/8" stereo jack to split 1/4" jacks to a mixer or amp. Overall I dig it and at just over 12 pounds it's easily portable to gigs.

Great piano
Awesome piano. Great sound and just what I was looking for as an intermediate piano player myself. I didn't want all the buttons and sounds that some of the digital pianos come with this one has a couple so that's fine.

Scam Keyboard
This is a toy. I wasn't expecting much at this price point, but to say that it is even remotely playable as a 'piano' -- even for a beginner -- is laughable. I started the return process within hours of receiving it because it was such bad quality. However, it's now been two weeks and I have yet to see my refund, despite the keyboard having been received by the seller within a few days. My refund is "being processed." I need to purchase a different keyboard, but I can't until this refund goes through. Imagine if consumers had the ability to "process payment" and delay corporate income and profits on a whim?

I’m having fun with this cute keyboard. Getting used to non weighted keys was an adjustment but I’m getting it. I’ve always been a fan of Korg. Overall great product for price point.
