Love a great puzzle!
On the Armegeddon Conspiracy site this book is mentioned as one of three coded works that expose deep truths about the Illuminati and their plans. While that sounded a bit like a plot to get me to buy and read the books (always up for a challenge/mystery) I went ahead and bought the first book, The Millionaires Death Club. I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by not only the overall story and the fact that it kept my interest, but also at the obvious depth of knowledge around a variety of subjects that make the characters and story believable. When writing about people who (by all normal standards) would be considered the elite, I would need to be convinced that those characters do in fact have the educational and cultural foundations which prove their status in order to appear real to me. The writer does convince me of this, although admittedly I'm more "Sophie" than "Zara" - and wouldn't really know differently, having never been part of the elite. However, this work does just that... It makes the reader feel as if they are taken in to a strange, weird world of the upper crust at their esoteric worst. How much truth there is in this fiction is anyone's guess... But I will be reading the other two books now, for sure. Maybe with any luck I will come away with a better understanding of everything. If not, the stories are still entertaining, I am certain!

Came for the Illuminati; Left with a Life Lesson
I became interested in this book because of its connection with the illuminati. I ended up taking a couple of personal life lessons from it. Overall it was riveting. It genuinely drew a variety of emotion out of me! On exciting parts, I felt excited. On funny parts, I laughed out loud. On scary parts, I was afraid. On sad parts I felt like crying; or I got jealous; or angry. I felt like the book was controlling my emotions! It was eerie to read because not only did it affect me so deeply; I knew that it is based on some truths in the world we live in; in an actual secret society. In places there was too much detail on frivolous things and not enough on the important things. Some big events are told in retrospect and that was pretty irritating. Some characters were not developed as fully as they could have been. The MANY references led me to a lot of "googling" while I read (not necessarily a bad thing). The ending confused me, I felt like the ends could have been tied tighter, but like any good mystery, it had to end with a little left behind. A quick read, but one you will never forget! P.S. Mike Hockney is a pseudonym and I am most certain this was written by a woman. No man knows fashion THAT well, nor the emotions of a woman when it comes to loving a man. The ending was also a very feminine way to end a story, especially one as dark as this.

All at once
I thought I would read only 25% today, but went all the way. Most amazing read. What I thought about was the author. The great mind one must have to write like he did in this book. The best part,in my experience, was the scene in the bunker, when everything was happening all at once.It might have been the fruit and vegetable cold pressed juice I was drinking, but then again I always drink that, but I felt an almost at will energy moving up my neck to the top of my head. To say the least, it felt great.

A fast paced thriller!
This is one out of a series of books by the Pythagorean Illuminati. The Pythagorean Illuminati are an ancient secret society of rational freethinkers officially founded and organized by the genius polymath Pythagoras. Some of the greatest geniuses in history have been members of the Illuminati. These people include: King Solomon, Pythagoras, Heraclitus, Empedocles, Plato, Simon Magus, Hypatia, Leibniz, Weishaupt, Goethe, and Hegel. Politically the Illuminati are Meritocrats and religiously they are Gnostics. Their goal is to end the insanity that is increasing everyday in this world. The Illuminati are trying to create a new world based on reason, justice, altruism, merit, community, and equal opportunities for EVERYONE to actualize their full potential. This book is one of the Pythagorean Illuminati's works of coded fiction. The Illuminati also have a series of brilliant non-fiction books by this author (Mike Hockney) and two other authors Adam Weishaupt and Michael Faust. If you like any of the Illuminati's fiction books you should really consider reading their non-fiction books too. The non-fiction books are those rare types of books that can literally change a persons life. If you enjoy any of the Illuminati's books you should also check out their website armageddonconspiracy.co.uk and their facebook page Ancient Order of The Illuminati."The Millionaires Death Club" is an amazing book. As the other reviewer "S810" pointed out: this book is packed with intrigue, murder, and mystery. As you read this book you can't help but wonder if there isn't a certain amount of truth in this story, especially the parts of the book that focus on the spoiled little rich kids from Oxford. If you enjoy fast paced, well written thrillers then you should definitely read this book.

Great book...
Although this book is a fiction, there is something very real and sublime about it. There seemed to be a cleverly crafted subtext that effortlessly imprinted itself in the recesses of my mind. After reading this book 3/4 of the way through, I did a search on the author and found that he apparently writes under a second name as well. When I looked that name up yesterday (Michael Faust), I found the book "Hegel: The man who would be god", which is also an amazing book.Keep up the good work author, I am hooked!

I enjoyed this for many reasons
I enjoyed this for many reasons. The story had some suspense, the characters were bizarre, and the narrator was a struggling young 30's lady.It addresses issues that arise after "you" think you've had every pleasure possible, so now what? Well, read this and discover some options.I've recommended this to my friends.

Good
The Book is well written by Mike as usual, However their is a more feminine approach from a Males Prospective, at first You wont have much regard for the Characters, You must be Patient with this Book. The Ending says it all, I would say give it a go, You will Like or Dislike, If You are Looking for more of the Armageddon Conspiracy, this is not of the same Intellect, Enjoy

Engaging
I thoroughly enjoyed this introduction and am looking forward to the second of four. Our quest for knowledge must be guided by our own intuition and not by the opinions of others. The truth changes with every door that gets opened, it just depends upon how many doors you get to open in your allotted lifespan.

Unusual but very good read
I had no idea what to expect when I ordered this title but I found it to be really intriguing even though it was not my usual type of read.
