Great base layer!
My daughter absolutely loves these. She works high up in the mountains of Colorado doing construction safety work and she said these are the best base layer pants. So if you have to brace freezing temperatures don’t hesitate to buy these!

They do what they are supposed to!!
I knew the Helly Hanson ski under garment would be what I wanted. I knew it from experience and I was not disappointed.

👎 nope
I’m not an avid reviewer but these base legging inspired me! They are horrible. They have a large thick seam running down the inside of your leg. If you rip it on the mountain that seam will cause very painful chafing. It’s a bad, unthoughtful design. These HH base layer leggings are trash. 🚮

Order a size up
Helly Hansen is European sized - these fit me but "just" - wasnt expecting that. The striping is raised and scratchy. Overall disappointed in the product but it was a gift so I kept it.

I returned it, it runs small
While these baselayer pants score high marks for style, their comfort and fit leave room for improvement. They are tight, don't offer much stretch, and run small. If you're considering these for your outdoor wardrobe, you may want to try them on for size first or opt for a larger size than you normally would. For those prioritizing comfort and flexibility in their activewear, it might be worth exploring other options.Given these issues, I've decided to return the Helly Hansen Women's HH LIFA Baselayer Pant. While I had high hopes based on the brand's reputation and the product's visual appeal, the fit and comfort did not meet my expectations for outdoor gear. Try it before you purchase it.

Runs small and lower waisted
These were pretty lightweight, which I expected. I had to return them because they were pretty tight. They may have worked, but the waist was low enough that it was uncomfortable and I would have been tugging at them. I bought a medium, I am 5'4" and weigh 135.
