I am sharing with the public my disappointment regarding three 12’ poles I purchased only a year ago. Despite following proper maintenance and seasonal storage, the poles have developed permanent bends within one year of use, causing them to no longer stand straight. I have provided pictures clearly demonstrating the extent of the damage, yet your customer service team has informed me that this is not covered under warranty. This is clearly a defect in the product’s integrity and quality. Take a look at the photos and be the judge!

If you’re looking for a high quality pole to mount your shade sail this is it. Worth the price

I purchased 2 of these 8ft poles to use with a patio sunshade. The instructions are not written very well and leave a lot for the user to figure out on their own. The anchor bolts are 11/16 which is NOT a common size. I hope you have an SDS Max drill as well because the only concrete/rebar drill bits I have found are SDS Max. There is a 11/16 SDS Plus version but if you hit rebar like I did....good luck. The kit does include pieces to use in the ground if you feel like digging up a square a foot deep and using the included pieces. And of course, no video on ground installation. The metal feels nice but I have yet to actually get them up. Other reviews say the poles bend under pressure. I cannot speak to that.

Bought two of the 12’ poles last July 2023 because of them being Non-rusting 304 stainless steel and having a 10 year 100% customer satisfaction warranty as stated in the description. Noticed this April 2024 one of the poles was rusting. After contacting ColourTree for the warranty I was told it wasn’t covered as it was not a structural defect. This is not explicit in the products description on Amazon and in its warranty claim not to mention that 304 St. Stl. Pole should not have rusted in the first place. Very disappointing that this company doesn’t stand behind its product.

This ColourTree 8ft pole is exactly what I needed for my backyard. I have a small patio cover but it only covers about half of my concrete patio area so I was looking to extend it out a little. I mounted the pole on my existing concrete without problems. The pole is a thick gauge metal and seems very sturdy so far. I attached one side of the shade cloth to the pole, one to my house and 2 to the covered patio. Great pole to extend a patio cover for extra shade.

Two poles mounted as instructed. During winds, both poles bent. Bases remained intact.During moderate winds 13-14 MPH both bent.During 17MPH winds one is severely bent.Wind Sail was mounted (2) on the house and (2) poles. Wind Sail does not have any damage.Do not buy these poles if you have any moderate wind with a larger Shade SailI will contact seller for any possible solutions. Replacement of poles, refund.
