Q: Can I iron the cloth once they product has been applied?

If the material can be ironed, it’s ok to iron it after being treated. Often the heat improves the waterproofing.

Q: does it work for velvet?

Should work fine on velvet - just apply to a section not in full view. After applying wait for proofing to dry fully and it should be invisible.

Q: Has anyone used the ‘ab’ version on their convertible top. i note the instructions recommend using ‘non ab version’.

Hi I used the smart fabric v2 on soft top. If you take the time cleaning and preparing soft top before use, it works amazing. Shame I can't upload picture.

Q: What is the coverage of 500ml? I have a large convertible roof to treat

Enough for the whole roof with some left over. Make sure the roof is clean, and dry (it needs to be left out of the rain/moisture for at least 24 hours if not more). Mask off the rest of the car, spray a good layer all over, you will see it sitting on top of the fabric. With a flat gloved hand go over it so get it rubbed in. Then spray a final lighter misting over the top
