Game changer for an old shadetree mechanic.
I have always spooned tires on and off the old fashioned way. Just some dish soap and water, spoons and elbow grease. But I just bought a used KLR, and the previous owner had a tubeless Shinko rear tire installed at the shop. The sidewall on this tire is very stiff, and I could not get the bead to break using my old methods. I have heard of people even cutting the tire off of their KLR's. I am too old to butt my head against a problem. At my age you just find the right tool, and 99% of the time its no sweat. These irons ARE the right tool. There was no learning curve, no issue whatsoever, that tire bead was broken on both sides in 5 minutes. I will never change a motorcycle, ATV, or riding mower tire again without them. The spoon sides of these are also very useful. I found myself not even using my old tried and true Moose irons. It really is an inspired design, kudos to Motion Pro. Get them, you will love them.

Excellent tools - very sturdy, made the job easy
Worked exactly as advertised. These are fantastic for removing/replacing tires (my use was for a riding mower).I struggled trying to remove a tire with prybars and screwdrivers, and gave up & ordered these. After hours with the prybar, these tools removed the tire in 10 minutes.Someone left a negative review for these tools complaining that they were not good for breaking the bead, but I do not think that is the intended use (buy a bead-breaker for that, like "beadbuster" - excellent tool). These tools are for removal and re-installation of the tire, and for that, they are perfect. For seating the bead on the new tire, I was able to squeeze the tire a bit (more or less "hugging" the tire to make it fit the rim tighter, and using my air compressor to quickly fill it & seat the bead.

Broke bead in less than 30 seconds...zero effort
I had been working on breaking the bead on my 14" EUC tire for the better part of an hour. The tire hadn't been on there for more than a couple weeks (just wanted to try out a different tread) and it just wouldn't pop. It was only a 14" tire. It shouldn't have been that bad, but it just wouldn't stop holding on. I tried spoon method, clamp method, even pry bar method. Had plenty of soap and water. Nothing.I finally gave up and just ordered these. Best thing I ever did. It broke the bead in less than 30 seconds. It broke on the first try...almost no effort. Did it in one more place and I was done. Amazing. I'll never go back.Quality is fantastic. They are heavy, strong, and I can't imagine them every breaking. I wish the price was lower, but even so it's totally worth it. You won't be disappointed unless you are trying to break the bead of giant car tires. Highly recommended.

Works for me
I am not a mechanic at all, not an authority to judge the tools vs another . I just watch YouTube videos from Rolling Wrench and also Mitch's Scooter Stuff to do maintenance and repairs on my Honda Ruckus. That being said, these bead breaker/tire spoons worked great for a 10 inch scooter tire. Keep it in mind that these tires are not as rigid or stiff as some larger motorcycle tires can be. I definitely don't think I would be able to break the bead of a car tire. But they should be fine with any scooter or motorcycle tire. I only gave them a 4 because like I said I can't judge one from a different model or brand. They were a 5 for me and my purpose anyway. They are the least expensive route for DIY tire changing. A lot of people out there retired or are on disability and like me lost $320 a month in benefits when they purged Medicaid. We have to learn to handle stuff ourselves and this tool is an affordable solution.

Although is a heavy tool, it is effective in order to break the motorcycle bead.

Got an ADV bike? Get this!
I found out, the hard way, that many ADV bikes use tires with a deeper bead. One that resisted my best efforts with numerous tire irons and other blunt, heavy objects. Many hours of Googling and YouTubing later- I decided to take a chance on these. Simple concept, and MotionPro always seems to use high-quality materials.Several days later, UPS dropped the Amazon box on my porch. No unboxing videos here kids, I had things unwrapped and the wheel laid out within minutes. And to my astonishment, it wasn't much longer before the rubber and the rim were living separate lives. It went something like this:-I'd already deflated the tire and removed the valve core.-Either remove your rotors or place the wheel on wood spacers to avoid damage-Now to business: Slip the two-pronged fork in between the tire and the rim.-Slip the single-prong in between the dual prongs, the lever end should be tilted UP.-Now, grip BOTH levers together and push downward. As the levers come together, the prongs separate, forcing the bead away from the rim. Give everything a little extra downward push if necessary until you hear the bead release.-repeat at few times at various points around the tire to insure the bead is completely free-turn tire over and repeat.I was thoroughly pleased with how well this tool worked. And the levers feel like they will hold up well for the long run. The have a nice grippy black oxide surface, the alloy is EXTREMELY rigid, and it just inspires confidence. Now you can lever the tires off the rim as usual. PLEASE- -use Rim Protectors. Buy 'em, borrow 'em, or make 'em out of an old milk jug. Unless you LIKE repainting your wheels often... And when time comes to mount the new rubber, try leaving the tire out in the sun for a few hours first, it makes it MUCH easier to lever on.Ride safe.

Works like magic!
I ordered these to change tires on my adventure bike after fighting with breaking the beads before. These make it so simple! Get the first tool in, spray with tire lubricant, get next tool in and squeeze them together. Work around the rim and after doing this 2-3 spots, the bead just pops off.

Good product.
Easier to use than most tire irons. Breaking a bead can still be difficult. Could use a third iron to seat and remove tire.
