Worthy alternative to expensive brands.
I recently got back into diecasts and to fill out my collection I picked up a few of Bburago's latest models. These are a world apart from the old Italian made stuff from the 80s/90s and all stand up very well against my more expensive models. The Daytona SP3 is probably the best I've seen to date and hats off to Bburago for capturing the shape and detail perfectly. The car comes well protected in a nice signature box with a styrofoam inner. I've seen a few YouTube videos but on opening the inner box it looks even better in the flesh, especially in Rosso Magma colour. Paint isn't perfect with a few minor flaws but it's very very good for the price point. Wheels, tyres, brakes are all of acceptable detail and look the part. There's plenty of carbon fibre detail all around the car and Bburago seem to be making improvements on realism in this area. I didn't think I'd like the blue seats but they are quite striking and the rest of the interior is well done although the seatbelts are a bit plasticky and I might add some detail to the fire extinguisher. I won't even bother with the front boot as there's nothing of real interest in there. The engine bay is another area where Bburago have improved massively and this one is comparable with any mid range diecast. Doors are sturdy but a bit stiff so care is needed when opening. They come with side windows which set the signature range apart from the race and play models. This version doesn't come with a removable roof which is an odd decision as it's just a piece of black plastic and it wouldn't have hurt to include it. Lights are well done and the front covers are retractable on this model. Apparently there's a China only version which has more photo etched parts but all I can see here is the horse logos and an etched Ferrari on the rear clam. One of these was applied a bit wonky which was an easy fix and along with a dinged corner to the box these are the only minor bad points I can see.All in all I would highly recommend this version which comes at a fraction of the cost of the £450 high end sealed models from the likes of BBR or MR. Watch the pricing as it fluctuates from £75 to £90ish and at £75 it's well worth it. Honestly, if this was side by side with the high end versions you would be hard pressed to tell the difference at arms length.

Excellent Ferrari Model.
Superbly designed and crafted Special Ferrari. Looks great, a great buy, as I believe they were made in limited quantities. A great inclusion to my collection.
