Different NAND memory (Toshiba 112L instead Micron 176L)
Please Be Aware - I just got one of this 7300 Auros. I found that the new ssd comes with Toshiba memory with 112 layers, to my surprise... Toshiba 112L BiCS5 TLC 16k 512Gb/CE 512Gb/die 2Plane/die In the spec, it is still indicated as 176L memory from Micron. I found that some specs are very different to the original: 1. The type of NAND memory is Toshiba 112L BiCS5 TLC 16k 512Gb/CE 512Gb/die 2Plane/die; 2. The test speed is lower, and AIDA64 with write to the full capacity shows performance as a none DRAM SSD with very low write speed after SLC buffer is consumed.
