This item is true to the Seller's claims in EVERY way. Unlike so many other 'weatherproof' items I have tried it is definitely windproof, waterproof and extremely tough with heavy duty plastic coated seams and a durable edging all round. It was immediately used on a camping trip last weekend and proved to be more than suited to the job, keeping me warm and dry whenever going outdoors into some very rainy and cold weather and then doubling as a ground sheet for the tent at night. Adding to this it has it's own handy carry bag so I couldn't be more impressed. I bought this poncho for the Greenman festival in August. It did rain quite a lot and the ponch kept me dry. I could even fit it over me and the 22 litre rucksack I had taken. It packed away easily in its bag and I kept it with me the whole festival due to the rain. It's obviously treated with waterproof conditioning product as the rain beaded on it. It also has taped seams. Very sturdy looking. It even acted as a bib when I got egg yolk all over me eating an egg and bacon roll! Soon rinsed off. Would buy again and recommend for festivals definitely waterproof. Thank you to everyone for answering my questions prior to purchase!

This item is good value for money, only thing I would say is we were expecting it to be a bit more lightweight for carrying as we do a lot of walking throughout the Uk, but you can't have everything. Sure this will keep my Hubby dry in the rain! On the whole very pleased with this.

Decent poncho. Wind/rain proof. Comfortable to wear. Comes with poppers that allow you to close the cape together under each arm. Unfortunately, the popper on the right side pulled completely through the fabric of the poncho after about 25 min of wear. I might just have had a faulty one. Sent it back for a refund - shame because other than that it was just what I was looking for.

Got this for my dad when he is fishing. He has only used it's once so far, but said he is happy with it as it not only keeps him dry also keeps his basket dry.

A bit on the heavy side and if I hold my arms out I can shelter both dogs, not the most flattering product but does what it states.

Recently purchased this Poncho for work, I'm a lorry driver and wanted something waterproof but didn't want the restriction of jacket and trousers. This Poncho is real quality, slightly heavier than other makes but would appear that it will outlast the cheaper light weight ones. It does smell a bit rubbery at first but remove it from the bag and hang it up and its fine, really waterproof and windproof, great product.

Excellent rain poncho. Very good quality, well made, generous fit. good press studs and toggle around hood. Not flimsy - a good weight to it, but not heavy to wear. Great in a downpour and when the sun is out, it acts as a great groundsheet. Lovely pouch to keep it in, and easy to put in a rucksack, on a bike or a fishing bag !!!
