Low quality plastic. The sides smells like burnt plastic and the plastic layer protection from the sides have to be removed to get rid of that smell.One of the shelf of 6 was disfigured from the side and had a small crack in it. One bolt was also missing .Not worth the money.

I use it for acrylic paints. It works fine.
