Tasty beans - what a treat!
I am not a fan of beans in general but in an attempt to eat a more balanced diet I thought I'd better give beans another go. I tried a variety of beans from my local supermarket and found flageolet beans to be the most palatable. Then the supermarket stopped selling them, I saw these on Amazon and although they were a tad expensive I have had Biona almond butter and found it to be superior to other makes so I decided to give it a go. Wow, what a revelation, they are really nice, better by far than any of the tinned ones.The jar opens fairly easily and the beans are well packed in. They are surrounded by thick salted water. I can't stand anything goey so I rinsed them well. I made a bean salad with fresh green beans, spring onions, tuna and grilled asparagus and added the rinsed beans mixed with a little oil, pepper and lemon juice - truly wonderful. The beans are soft and have a good colour and once the goo is rinsed off they have a clean taste and a nice texture. As I will probably use them more for salads than in cooking I don't mind paying a little extra as the quality really shows. I might try some of the other Biona beans to see if they are more palatable than the ones I got from the supermarket - I wish they did a mixed 6 pack.

Delivery is very bad
The beans are very tasty, but this is not the first time they have been delivered in broken glass jars.

Fabulous and GF
The wonderful thing about Biona is not only are they Organic, they are also GF so safe for me as Coeliac. Just rinse the beans fully in a sieve before use and add to whatever you are making. I use these in all sorts, from a mixed bean salad to curry, casserole, and chilli. Very tasty. The jars are also nice and useful to reuse for making chutney or gifts.

Biona has delicious products,but on 3 occassions jars were broken & Biona has not replaced

Excellent quality.
Excellent beans - great quality. Beans were cooked perfectly - not hard and not too soft.I will be buying again.

Very tasty and convienient. Prefer beans in glass to tins. 1st pack came with 2 jars with popped seals but was sent a replacement pack today. Nice mix of beans and lentils, good for salads and a filling snack. Will be buying regularly.

Arrived damaged, leaking
This is a great quality product and I purchase it regularly. This time the jars arrived leaking and not fit for eating. Maybe delivery people didn't handle it well, not sure. If the seller doesn't remedy the situation, I will not be buying from here again.

Arrivé cassé!
Difficile en fait de noter ces flageolets puisque le bocal est arrivé cassé et donc bien sûr inutilisable, j'ai mis une note moyenne pour ne pas pénaliser ce produit mais l'emballage et le transporteur par contre ne méritent vraiment aucune étoile.........
