I bought 2 of these cameras and NIETHER of them will hold a solar charge. The camera itself produces great images off of the battery back up. The customer support at spypoint is the least helpful group of people I have encountered in a very long time. I have followed all of the directions they have given me and still nothing. I should have just gone with the flex and not the S version. To get to my camera is a 4 hr round trip and they keep telling me to just get the camera and "TRY" this next. Frustrating doesn't come close to how irritating this is.

So glad we got these! Work very well, no trouble sincing with phone app, pics are pretty clear.

Solar isn’t keeping them charged. Last year I would get about 2 weeks of use out of them. Had them set up in the woods where they didn’t get a whole lot of sun each day. This year I have them set up on a clearing edge where they get lots of full sun. Might get 3-4 weeks out of them.Picture quality is ok. They trigger on initial detection ok. As animals remain in view I’m not getting additional triggers which is concerning.On the plus side cell function works nicely and I get pics no problem. App is also pretty straightforward and easy to use

I purchased the flex thinking that the pictures of picture would be better which it is the quality of picture is definitely better the micro s camera that I have cameras I have four of them in operation they've been very dependable the batteries have held up well hopefully the flex holds up as well as the micros has I purchased two of these one works great the other one not so great you better buy batteries for them because the onboard battery doesn't last especially if you get a lot of photographs of deer which I do at least 100 plus a day so the battery on board doesn't hold up you have to buy the battery Tractor Supply is the cheapest that I've seen them and it's about 75 bucks for two of them so there's another $45 per unit that you have to expend for the batteries but life is life newer is not always better

These spypoint cameras as absolute junk. Both cameras chew through batteries, back up solar packs won’t recharge and they constantly loose communication and have to be hard reset. Save your money do not buy Spypoint cameras.

Not sure but it was not apparent that the rechargeable batteries were not included, I'm not sure at this point what kind of batteries it can use.

Easy assembly and setup

In my opinion, the solar panels are on these cameras just for luxe in the battery life sucks on them unless you sell them to only sending pictures once a day which doesn’t do much good during the peak of hunting season would not recommend
