Lightweight, Durable Design
I recently purchased the Baseball Racket for Fly Balls: Fungo Racket Baseball/Baseball Racket for use in coaching and practice sessions. Here’s my honest review based on its performance:Pros:Lightweight Design: The fungo racket is lightweight, making it easy to swing and control. This is crucial for hitting accurate fly balls and grounders during practice drills.Durable Construction: The racket is well-made with sturdy materials. It feels robust and capable of withstanding frequent use on the field.Good Grip: The handle has a comfortable grip, providing good control and minimizing fatigue during extended use.Effective for Training: It performs well for hitting consistent fly balls and grounders, which is essential for coaching purposes.Cons:Size Consideration: The length of the racket may be shorter than some coaches prefer for specific drills or player heights. It’s important to consider your specific needs before purchasing.Overall, the Fungo Racket Baseball/Baseball Racket is a solid choice for coaches and players looking for a reliable tool for practice sessions. It offers durability, good performance, and ease of use, although potential buyers should ensure it meets their size preferences for optimal effectiveness.I received no compensation for this review and have provided my unbiased assessment based on my experience with the product.

Amazing Racket, Really upped my 9 year old's game, extremely well made
The media could not be loaded. This racket is great, my son is 9 and they started him in right field so I had to get him up to speed quickly. Once you get the hang of it, it's so much more accurate than a bat. I started hitting him waffle balls, then tennis balls, then baseballs. You can hit pop ups or grounders. Such a great investment and worth the price to me.

Great for close pop up practice
This is a great way for outfield practices without doing fungos from home plate.

Didn't like
It came quick! The bag is very cheaply made and flimsy, the racket is very heavy, I wouldn't be able to use it easily. The grip is not very comfortable. Sad to say but I have to return it. I wish it could have worked out for me.

Disappointing
Mediocre results with our much pace on balls Just went back to using bat.

Works great for little league
I've been using it for a month now and it works great for little league. I see a bunch of commenters saying it doesn't work for distance fly balls but I don't think that is the intended use case. The only time I have ever seen people use this and the only way I use it is to hit fly balls to my outfielders as they stand in a line while the other team is taking infield. I'll stand on a foul line and hit them out to center field. If it is during practice I'll hit from just behind the pitchers mound and it has plenty of carry out to normal depth for 12U players. It takes a few tries to get the motion down but once you have it you can place balls wherever you want. Some people said it doesn't last long and I imagine they're leaving it outdoors. It utilizes shock cord to hold the matt to the frame. If you leave that out in the sun and heat it will deteriorate. I really like it. Only thing that isn't perfect is the grip is a bit "rough". Took one star off for that.

Just what I needed
Like many coaches, I have many bad hits with my fungo. Too far, wrong way, wiffs. This really lets me put the ball where I want it for practice. I can even get spin on it to mimic everything they will see on the field. Pop ups are much better now for infield work because I can actually get the ball where I want it so the kids can move in the right way. I only wish I got it earlier. After I got it, a lot of other coaches in my league started turning up with them.
