I was on the fence about getting a dashcam partly because I didn't want a camera taking up more of the windshield and routing the wires to be hidden sounded near impossible, but this FitcamX was the perfect solution! Looks exactly like the mirror enclosure that came with the car, and the plug into the mirror means no cable routing necessary. The picture quality is quite good in both night/day and the fact that I can just pull the SD card without further need of the app (which works fine, I just don't need a live preview or to change any settings) is very convenient. Would highly recommend if you're on the fence, the install videos (had to search Youtube for the C40 specific video) make the install a breeze and it doesn't rattle at all.

La cámara se instala fácilmente, la aplicación se configura también fácilmente aunque es muy importante seguir las instrucciones y leerlas previo a la instalación para asegurar su funcionamiento preciso. La cámara está diseñada para quedar perfectamente integrada al auto por lo que no estorba, y pareciera que es parte integral del auto, inclusive antes del envío, el fabricante confirma el modelo del auto para le quede perfecta. Muy buen servicio y lo recomiendo ampliamente!!

I’m a huge fan of dash cams. I’ve been involved in two accidents and both times dash cam footage proved I was not the driver at fault. The camera is a little pricey, however, it is very easy to install with great video quality and good app integration. Looks great and blends well behind the rear view mirror. Dash cams are a must given our litigious society.
