There are a few things that to some of us are particularly attractive about this spice box. Firstly, the fact that each little container has a lid - this way, not only are the aromas somewhat contained, but also, while moving the box to the stove, while cooking, the spices are contained, and do not risk spilling inside the large containing box. Please know that each spice container is NOT hermetically sealed, however, the provided lids fit well, do not "fall off" on their own, and are strong enough to contain your spices. The large lid that covers the large box fist really well - it takes a bit of effort to open, which means that the aromas will not dissipate into your pantry or cabinet. SUGGESTION - since the choice of spices is yours, it may be a good idea to put a label onto the lids of each spice container, that way, picking out what you need is made easy. Regarding the price - yes, it is expensive, without a doubt, and yet, I went ahead and bought it, and feel good about the purchase. What spoke to me was the quality of the stainless steel, the extra number of spice containers, and especially the lids for each container. The quality is really good, solid, and there are good odds I won't need another spice box for the rest of my life. Like someone once said "we buy once, we buy well!"

I recently purchased the spice dabba and have been very impressed with it contents. I appreciate how convenient is it to have all of these spices in one compact container, and the clear lid makes it easy to see when I’m running low on particular spice.Previously the one I had no lid due to which all my spices started loosing its flavors after some time, so I like the new dabba have lid which could keep the freshness of the spices. I also felt the price is reasonable.I highly recommend this product who enjoys making Indian dishes, as many recipes call for a combination of several different spices.

We bought this few weeks back and first, we loved it. However, within couple of weeks, most of the lid cover’s glass started cracking and has visible crack in it. Seems glass material is not a good quality. Now it looks cheap.
