ARM & HAMMER Powder Laundry Detergent, Alpine Clean, 9.56 lb, 155 Loads

I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now. As any other powder detergent, only a small amount is needed for a full load. Good quality- I have noted that my clothes don’t look sad and lifeless as they did with tide and gain powder. I do have to run an extra rise cycle to make sure that there is no residual detergent left in them- this may be mostly because of my water (too much chlorine in our tap water).The smell is fresh but not overpowering. It doesn’t linger. A fresh load right out of the washer emits some pleasant scent however it dissipates after the dryer. Gain powder smell is far better than this one, in my opinion, mostly because the scent stays with u the entire day.Shipping was okay- there was some spillage in the shipping box- which I have seen to be true for most powder detergents (it’s like a bag of flour- never sealed properly enough).We have relatively sensitive skin however no actual skin conditions- this detergent hasn’t shown any adverse effects- 🤞. Size is good for a family of a few who do frequent washing.

"Alpine Clean" Is Our Favorite scent by Arm & Hammer. I wish this scent came in the bucket size, but I never seen it.This is Quality powder detergent that gets clothes clean. Economical for large families, smells good, works great and with Amazon it's usually cheaper or same price delivered to Your door.

This is an excellent detergent and works better than any other detergent on the market. I've tried loads. I recently used a variety of laundry sheets with ok, not great results. Those are made with plastic too - plus I've found them to be harsh on clothing.I used to use A&H when my kids were younger and I am very happy I've come back to it. The scent is very light and not at all overpowering (we're sensitive to scents so probably a good measurement) The cardboard box means almost no plastic waste; there is a plastic scooper inside which, by the way, is too large so use less than recommended for best results. Overall, a great product with a bonus of being a terrific price point. Highly recommend!

I’d been using liquid detergent for a long time and just dealing with the acceptable level of cleanliness of my clothes, but I decided to try a switch back to powder and really wanted to invest in having fresh smelling clothes.This does the trick. My clothes feel cleaner and smell way fresher than using the liquid pods or even the liquid itself. The smell isn’t too heavy for me, but I can imagine sensitive noses might find it a little too powerful.Upon receipt, the box had leaked some powder, which was a disappointment but not a big deal. Just make sure your pets and kids aren’t too close when you open! It does leave a residue on your hands when it gets on them, but a quick wash eliminates it immediately.Definitely a good product for the price and one I’ll buy again!

If you are looking for excellent results at a reduced price, I'd definitely recommend this brand. I am on a campaign to save money on items that I have to constantly repurchase out of necessity. I love the scent and efficiency, but I most especially enjoy the small amount that is required for a normal load of wash. I wish manufacturers included more accurate measuring devices that would most clearly show what is needed to get the job done, because I am personally done with throwing money down the drain!! Arm and Hammer is a really good detergent.

UPDATE: it is now June, and I still have this detergent. There's about 1 1/4 boxes of the detergent left. It lasts very long and when washing, I don't need a lot of it. I have used it to wash my dish rags by hand, added some to my dish water, and paired with vinegar... it suds really nicely and it keaves a clean and wonderful aroma in my home.I love the smell of this stuff. When I opened the packaging there was a little bit of powder that had spilled inside the box. When I went to open the detergent box, there was powder all along the outer lining of the box itself and I didn't know what to expect. I thought it was overfilled and that it was going to spill out on me. Thank the Father YHWH it didn't. It was not over filled, just that it must have been tilted and some powder had gotten out.It doesn't take much to wash your clothes. I filled the scoop up with about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way up and poured it into my machine and added some vinegar. I let it fill with water and man was that water hot and soapy. It had my laundry room and my home smelling a-ma-zing. It did excellent on my clothes.

this laundry detergent, I have used for about five years now. I blended it with borax and some natural scent beads. I feel like it gets my clothes, clean, doesn’t leave an overwhelming scent that overpowers the natural scent beads that I use, while getting my clothes, really clean, I work as a nurse and so I run around all day and scrubs and I always trust this to get them clean. Shout out to borax for the blend.

This is great detergent and its not expensive and the most important thing is that it has enzymes in it. Detergents just don't clean if they don't have enzymes in it. Quite a few Arm and Hammer detergents don't have them so you have to look and make sure.The smell is great and not over powering either. I bought some gain and good grief I had to give it away cause it was overpowering bad..
