3.5 year old loves it.
We bought a smaller usborne sticker book from the zoo and my 3 year old loved it. Surprised her with another one as something to keep her busy on a long road trip. Another great sticker book. Stickers are good quality and don’t easily rip when small fingers are peeling them.

Appeals to a range of ages!
My granddaughters really love this sticker book. One had it first, and everyone liked it so much that I bought two more for the others. It’s not only a sticker book--it’s like a little encyclopedia of animals. The three year old loves the stickers so much, she stuck a few other face and walked around with them there for several hours (no kidding!). The 6 year loves to keep her stickers in the book and use it more as a book/encyclopedia. I like that it appeals to a wide range of ages and everybody likes it so much.I do recommend it and my granddaughters do also!I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that my review helped you!

Not sticky
The stickers are ok. They do not stick great. This might be a good thing if you want to move them around.

Disappointing
Cute but stickers didn’t even stick to the pages.

Nice - but some deja vu
First of all, parts of this book appear to be from other sticker books. I am noticing that Usborne often recycles old material into new versions of books - sometimes its just the scenery on a page that is copied, but other times even the stickers or wording is identical to pages in another book. This makes it difficult to know if an Osborne book is really something is new - and even if part of a book is new, part of the book may be repetitious. Now I love Osborne products, but recycling old material is something kids and I as an educator notice. Fortunately for us, only the jungle page and stickers seemed to repetitive to what we had already done. How we to use this book with older children:- select an animal sticker and place in scene it belongs- discuss the characteristics of the animal/plant and make hypotheses about it- research that animal in an animal encyclopedia or online... maybe even watch some video of its behaviorUltimately the book It will serve as an introduction to the scientific method and how to research further knowledge, etc.How we to use this book with younger children:- talk about a particular continent- select the page that corresponds to that part of the world- select an animal sticker and place in scene it belongs.. talk about if the animal lives on the ground, flies in the air, or in the trees.- discuss the characteristics of the animal/plant- read a book about that ecosystem, the animals there, or even watch some video of this environment and the animal's behaviorUltimately the book once made can be a good reference book to ecosystems especially if you put labels in, etc.Pros:1. The book includes more organisms than I expected and many you do not normally find in kids books.2. Includes multiple ecosystems.3. Colors animals and plants realistically.4. Stickers are labeled for which page they go on and species are labeled with their names.5. Includes a world map of where all those jungles are located for context.6. No outlines of where the stickers go so the kids can creatively choose where to place them on the designated pages.7. Represents a variety of living things, so it includes plants, mammals, reptiles, fish, amphibians, insects, etc.8. Most of the organisms are drawn cute but not overly cartoony (though some still are a tad too cutesy).Cons:1. Edges of the stickers are white which makes the animals not flow into the scenes they are placed into... this could have been prevented by having no borders on the stickers.2. Not a lot of info was provided on each animal or ecosystem so parents will have to put in the extra time with their kids researching info to get the best learning.3. Organism names are written on the sticker sheets, but the names are not stickers themselves... so either the names get left behind or you have to cut them out by hand to stick onto the scenes. The names just should have been stickers too. Note: I cut all the names out and then labeled the animals in the scene the child put together. This made an excellent reference, but it took time.4. No fungi are represented in the book when fungi play a key roles in jungles from recycling nutrients to disease. A few mushrooms would not have been that difficult to include.5. Some images on the front cover do not appear in the actual book.Overall, we are happy with this book, even if he jungle section was repetitive for us. Defiantly going to use it with my son.

Beautiful illustrations and nicely made!
These sticker books are nicely made and the colors and illustrations are so pretty!! 5 or 6 year olds however will need help getting the stickers free from the page so as not to tear them… some are a bit hard even for a grandma;)

Delightful illustrations and easy-to-peel-away stickers!
Delightful illustrations and easy-to-peel-away stickers. Children are free to arrange the composition as they please. We always carry such a book when traveling. My 3 1/2 yr-old granddaugter loves the book and tells stories about the animals and the encounters she places them in.

Total druffig
