Helps arthritic people.
I have arthritis in my neck, shoulders and hands, making it very difficult to eat without spilling food on my clothes because I can’t tip my head back. I didn’t know if these utensils would help, but decided to give it a try. Oh, my, I ate oatmeal this morning without spilling a drop on my clothes. I couldn’t believe such a simple concept would solve my problem. I love these. I plan on taking them with me when eating out, less embarrassing than dribbling food in front of everyone. I wish they came in a case, but I’ll think of something.

Incredibly useful
These adaptive forks and spoons are life savers for me. Because of a SCI I am no longer able to hold a normal spoon or fork. The handles are just too thin. These wider handles do the trick. The bend in the utensils allow me to get the food into my mouth despite my arm limitations.

Very effizient for weaker patients with tremors. The metal part of the spoon does not adjust or move in any way during feeding. This part was not clear to me when I ordered due to the talk of 'adjustable' spoon / fork. Bit pricey though, that's why 4 Stars.
