Does not fire
Spring is not strong enough to provide the force necessary to fire blank. Not recommended for purchase. May take the advise from others and make the striker more pointed, too flat.

parts missing in one box. (ordered two units
The warning trip pin was missing in one of the boxes and a broken drill bit was in the box. (unknown why)The basic trip mechanism was ok but unable to use with the missing pull pin.

It works but only with modification
I like the fact that it seems well made and pretty simple to use except to make it actually is set off a shotgun shell you have to remove the firing pin mechanism and grind it down to a sharp point for it will actually set the shotgun shell off
