Similar to balls pectin. I use for jelly and turns out great!

Absolutely the best
I wish I would have thought to buy bulk pectin a long time ago! I made strawberry freezer jam last night using this pectin! It set up perfectly! I think it is even better than the small boxes of pectin that I have been using! It definitely saves a lot of money!!! Love it!

Excellent product
I have used suregel for the past 50 years but it got a bit pricey so I tried this. I am so glad I did. This pectin is 10 times better as well as being cheaper. I use a Ball jelly maker and this works amazingly well with it. I make a lot of flower and herb jellies that have zero pectin of their own. They set up perfect with this.

Got thick with only honey
Great buy! I had doubts because of the price and thought something might be off, but after using it to make strawberry jam, it turned out great and in under five minutes it was done! i barely had to wait for it to set too. I was worried because I know you need sugar to activate the pectin, but I used honey instead of sugar, and it still got nice and thick.

This will NOT work for freezer jam
I knew I was taking a chance ordering this when the product info didn't say it would work for freezer jam but there were a few reviews that said it did. I am not sure if they cooked their jam with the pectin and then froze it rather then canning it, but this pectin did NOT work for fresh, no cook freezer jam. I even tried adding a higher quantity of pectin and it still didn't setup. I am going to try creating liquid pectin with this by boiling it in water and see if that, when cooled, will set up a fresh freezer jam. But bottom line, this one won't work for your standard fresh, freezer jam. And I really wish the company would state in their info that this won't work for freezer jam.
