CryoStat Hemorrhoid Relief disposable cold therapy packs 6 ct.

I purchased these after reading the product reviews for this listing and another listing here at Amazon. I started having hemorrhoid issues during my most recent pregnancy, and the creams I could get at my local drugstore weren't enough. I thought these packs were some sort of chemical cold pack that was really small and stuck gently over the affected area. In reality, it is nothing more than a fluid filled tube with a soft covering. it will not stick at all (which may be a good thing). The size is good for the products intended use. I am just looking at the price tag, especially if you also pay shipping, and thinking that people could probably just freeze up some slender bit of ice or maybe even an appropriately sized ice cube, put it in a sandwich bags and maybe wrap it in a thin layer of flannel to get the same effect.A phone call to my OB and I was prescribed a prescription product which really brought down my swelling. These cold packs were somewhat helpful as part of an overall regimen, but didn't seriously shrink my tissues enough. I will use these up rather than try to return them, and then I will make ice packs and use the prescription supplies I received.Overall, think about if the price is really worth it for a softly covered tube shaped ice pack. If the convenience is worth it to you, go for it. If not, make your own.

I do NOT like chemicals and try to avoid them as much as I possibly can and is why I refuse to get any of those "hemorrhoid creams". I came across these a few years ago, the very same six pack, and since the problem only appears once in a while, they lasted a while. I never even thought to get an extra pack and when I started getting low, of course the drugstores in my area didn't carry the item anymore. I almost panicked especially since I had thrown the box in the trash and forgot the name of them. But, I was looking around on Amazon one day, and decided to type in a bunch of stuff in the search bar and up popped my item! I was soooooo happy to see it! I am not even embarrassed to gush about this item, and to say that it REALLY works! Yes, it is unbearably cold at first, but that dissipates and if you hang in there, you will get good results! I am thrilled that I know where to find them now!

So I get my box and am all happy to start and I read the directions. First they are to be put in the freezer for 2 hours prior to use. Each pack is disposable. They tell you to remove from your buttocks with toilet paper and put in the trash. Directions further state to use at a MINIMUM four treatments a day (remember there is only 6 packs in each box) for the first week. After the first week two treatments a day until the symptoms are gone. So you will need 28 packs for the first week to comply with the directions. So you need to order FIVE boxes just to start. They seems to be just a little butt crack shaped ice pack with paper cloth over top. Dont see why they cant be reusable if you have removeable cloths to put around them. Seems like just an ice pack to me.

Originally I found these at a store, on the clearance rack. I tried them, and they worked... I am so glad I know where I can get them now...Works wonders if you really SUFFER from hemorrhoids. Keep in your freezer for when you've tried everything -- ointments, diet change, soaking, medication -- and still are in pain, this will do the trick.They get really cold, almost intolerably cold, but its worth it because they work. I use when I go to bed, and I ignore the recommendation for how long to use, and just fall asleep with it there, and wake up pain free.Because of the amount in each box, I only use when I am really suffering.

these are not bad. The size is right but they do not stay cold long. I would suggest wrapping them and reusing or you will be done with the whole box in a very short period of time.

I used these after having a baby, not for hemorrhoids but just for the cooling effect down there. Put one in my underwear while lounging and it definitely helped the swelling. The hospital made ice diapers but this was easy and reusable if you put a cloth over it to keep it clean

What it is is this: 2 icecubes wrapped in plastic. Don't buy it. You can makeshift it yourself.

Got this for future needs. I'm surprised to have found this and will certainly keep it around for future use. Thank you
