Keeps drinks cold for quite some time! Decent little bottle though a bit small

I was saying just the other week that it would be good to have a drinks holder that I could take with me to the amusement parks we visit, that could keep a coffee cold.This bottle fits the bill nicely. Size wise, I would usually drink about 2 litres in a day out, and this bottle would deal with almost a quarter of that. It is roughly the size of two coffees mugs for me. Externally the bottle us a but larger than I originally expected, possibly about the size of two cans.To test the bottle, I put a mug of coffee in the fridge for a few hours, and after it was cold, added it and a cube of ice to the bottle. I then left the bottle about 20 hours in my office. So next morning, I did have a chilled coffee to drink. The ice had melted, but the temperature of the drink was nice and cool compared to my warm office. The picture shows a mug's worth of coffee in the bottle.I do like the enamelled outer of the bottle, and I think that the pattern is very nice. It doesn't have to have been a pattern of something.I was a bit surprised at how lightly packaged the bottle was. It came in a single-thickness Amazon bag, and then just a layer of tissue paper around it. Good for not destroying the environment, but brave to send it with couriers like that.I understand why it has been done, but it is a bit of a pity that the way that the brand name has been etched into the bottle seems to have caused grains to be lodged under the enamelling and caused spots. These can't be seen at a distance, but it is possible that these blemishes will expand/crack after repeated washing.The other slightly disappointing aspect is that the transfer used for the pattern hasn't been matched where it meets.If there was the option of 4 and a half stars, that is what I would be choosing. Ultimately the neither of the faults is big enough to remove a star. I am not too precious with the way things look. However if the blemishes do get worse then I might need to revisit it.

Wowza this is expensive. Like really expensive. It’s well made of course, and perfect for coffees and a crafty rum and ginger on the train. It doesn’t leak, and the lid doesn’t pop off when filled with fizzy mixer. The marble isn’t to my taste but it may be to yours. So is it worth it? I think yes, and if you’ve had a backpack and all your electronics ruined by an exploding drink bottle, you would to.

I recently reviewed a 500ml Swell bottle and marvelled at it's premium quality although slightly expensive price tag. This Swell Traveler bottle is the shape my wife preferred to have to the ordinary bottle and from the moment we opened the box we weren't disappointed to find the exact same quality we found with the other bottle. It's made from stainless steel and has a really nice sort of marble effect outer shell and the weight and look really do make the bottle feel like a premium product.Again I have to point out that it's just a bottle and carries liquids just like other brands out there that may be cheaper and appeal more to other tastes, but this one does have the added bonus of being a more unique shape in that it has a larger mouth and cap to make it easier for drinking or adding ice and the times quoted for keeping liquids hot and cold are 12 hours and 24 hours respectively, slightly down on the times of the 500ml bottle but that's probably down to the different shape and wider opening.Overall this is an undeniably first class, high grade product which I can highly recommend and if you want to stand out with your water bottle then get one of these, just be prepared for the price to go with it as it's currently £29.99 at the time of review and if you want any of the add ons like a grab handle or protection buffer, these will have premium prices also. Trouble is I'm probably going to end up buying the handles for both of ours as we like them so much they have now become our first choice bottles.

Great bottle, it’s well made and sturdy. It doesn’t leak, so it’s good for travelling, and keeping it in handbag.It keeps drink hot or cold for long.
