There seems to be a conflict of information. On the one hand I've read to use warm water for relief, on the other, use cold compresses. The CryoStat product does a pretty good job of relieving pain and shrinking hemorrhoids, but in my case, I may need to up the ante and see my medicine man. But overall, I'll give these four stars for the immediate relief I get when using the CryoStat product. BUT BE CAREFUL - INSTRUCTIONS SAY USE FOR ABOUT 6 MINUTES - DON'T GO BEYOND THE RECOMMENDED TIMELIMIT AS I DID ONCE! AND DON'T SIT WHILE USING! (Hey come on - anyone can stand or walk around for a lousy 6 minutes) :-)

They're good --- but you only need one box. Each box comes with six ice packs. Each ice pack is made up of some sort of liquid enclosed in a well-made plastic casing. The plastic casing is covered in a gauze paper.Here's the deal. They work really great in cooling the painful hemorrhoid and shrinking the swollen tissue, but you really don't need to buy more than one box.Although the product directions instruct the consumer to throw the ice pack away after only one use, I have found this to be unnecessary. After using an ice pack, you can easy rip the gauze paper off of it, clean it under running water, and then refreeze it. During the next use, simply wrap the used ice pack in tissue, toilet paper, or gauze. You can use them over and over again.

Gives good temporary relief for hemorrhoids and anal fissure. It is bulky but works better than creams for about an hour relief. Wear it for 20 min and then you have relief for the rest of the hour. Especially good to try before bedtime

It works, but for the price, you could probably make your own.

Gives relief when nothing else works. The negative, you need 6 hours in the freezes and you have to find somewhere to sit on them for 5 minutes.

We seem to fall in love with products, then not be able to find them locally. The product was great and glad to find it in a 3 pack.

this has been a life saver for me so easy and compact to use better than an a big bulky ice bag

It's OK. Same thing that using ICE, and ICE is free. I wouldn't buy it agin.
