Our Crackle formula was designed to work much etter on the tips using Accrylic or Gel System, IT WON'T CRACK the same on Natural nail. A) If you would like to have the entire nail with the crackle appearance: 1) Prep your nails. 2) Glue your tip and cut it. 3) Do your acrylic or gel system process, file and clean your nails. 4) This step is very important in order for the crackle to work properly:select the color of nail polish, apply a coat and let it dry. 5) Apply Mia Secret Crackle over the entire nail commencing from the cuticle and wait for 2 minutes until it cracks. 6) To have a shiny and radiant result, apply Mia Secret UV FINISH GEL. B) if you would like to have only the tip or French with the crackle appearance: 1) Prep your nails. 2) Glue your tip and cut it. 3) Apply a layer of nail polish color of your choice to the tip only and let it dry. 4) Apply Mia Secret Crackle to the tip of the nail and wait for 2 minutes until it cracks. 5) At this point you can start with your Acrylic or gel system to the entire nail. 6)To have shiny and radiant result. apply Mia Secret UV FINISH GEL. Use your imagination to choose the crackle affect!!!!

Works Beautifully, this is how I get the look with Mia Secret Crackle Nail Polish...
I bought the Mia Secret Crackle in Red and have it in Black. Both work beautifully. Key to getting the look on natural nails, to me anyway, is to apply at least 2 coats of the color you are going to be applying the Crackle over.Make sure it's completely dry, than apply the Mia Crackle Nail Polish over it. I've found depending on whether you put it on thicker, one coat, makes the crackle with larger cracks, put on thin coat and it makes real fine cracks..I apply one coat down the middle first and than one on each side of the center stroke of Crackle..Works beautifully for me...I let the Crackle dry for a few minutes and than apply a top coat over the crackle Nail Polish and it makes the crackle work even better. I've found it takes maybe up to 10 minutes for the crackle to become prominent like you may like. That look as the professionals does. Patience I've found, is the key to getting that look too, and lots of practice. I had to learn the Technique too, so it took me several tries to get it to look like I wanted..Once I figured it out, and it does a "Beautiful Crackle" on Natural nails too!..I love the look..I've got the OPI Crackle in the Silver and I can't tell any difference between the 2 brands except for the price of it..Mia Crackle is awesome, I'm buying even more of it because it does such a wonderful job..Hope this helps others who might be having problems getting the look..

It does not work
It does not work! I purchase the red crackle polish as well as the white crackle by Mia Secret and it does not work at all!!!!!!!! I would not recommend this product for anyone! I think my mistake was shopping outside of OPI products because my black crackle polish from OPI is Awesome.

This cracks just fine, still havent decided what to use a the base color, i have tried red and silver and it looks okay.

I ordered the Mia Secret polish in Red and have not received it. I am not sure if it was a different vendor but I orded it on Amazon.I also ordered the Katy Perry 5 pc set in the same amazon purchase and received it and love the colors.

Does not work.
I bought the 12 pc set. It does not work!! The polish did not crackle at all and the finish is like chalk or a flat paint. Dull, no shine at all. I am so disappointed.

This product is ok
This product is ok. They do not provide you with directions, so if you put it on natural nails, you need to apply a base coat first, or it won't crackle.
