Granger's Boot Cleaning Brush/Versatile Wood-Handled Cleaning Brush (GRF89)

I use this every day. Coming in from the garden I always have mode in the treads of my shoes. I hung this because the door in the garage where it's convenient. I wish the point was a little pointier but it works.

I bought this brush specifically to clean my hiking boots. The bristles are stiff and do a great job cleaning the bottom of the boots. The pointy end is effective for digging out pebbles and things that sometimes get stuck in the treads. It's nice and sturdy (wood, not plastic!) and the bristles don't shed like some other brushes. Recommend!

Second update: I find this brush is also excellent at cleaning your bluejeans off. I am back to buy another and this one will stay with my air compressor. Often moist dirt and wood chips stick to me after cutting firewood. Blowing with air does not remove a lot of it. This brush fixes that. Fits the hand and bristles are just the right stiffness and the dirt falls out of it easily. Update: this brush works well. My soles collect moist topsoil and is packed well into to the soles. I need 3 tools to clean a boot. 1. Screwdriver to break the soil up. 2. I come back with a grout brush with stiff nylon bristles to brush out between the lugs and all the rest. 3. This grainger brush actually cleans removes all the dirt. I even brush the leather after I clean the brush and my boots are clean I can put them on in the house and walk out the door with them in the morning on. Each tool has a purpose I'm very pleased it's a good system Better than a screwdriver. The bristles are stiff enough yet flexible enough to clean. This brush is not magic it requires work. The sharp end works well for breaking loose caked dirt. Bristles clean well. I don't think the bristles were meant to break dried on mud loose I I think the sharp end is for that The bristles are to clean everything up.

Love the point and chisel wedge on ends for getting dirt out of nooks and crannies. Brush bristles could be a tad stiffer.

I bought this brush to clean my hiking and walking shoes when there’s mud and dirt stuck to them and let me tell you - it works great! It fits very well in my hand, bristles are stiff enough, and I can tell it is very well made (in Germany!). Highly recommend.

These do a great job of removing all the dried on mud and red clay that get on my hiking boots. I tried just regular scrub brushes, but they don't do the job that this does. You won't have to worry about dirt flaking off of the shoes after using this. Well worth it.

Good bristles, but for me not comfortable to hold and use. It has a thin slab of wood for a handle. A thicker wood block with rounded edges and grooved sides to grip with I would have liked better.

I was a bit skeptical about how efficient or effective this could be, but after a couple of uses I feel like an idiot for not having one until now. On my new and fresh pair of nubuck boots it knocks all the dried dirt off instantly and makes them brand new once again, and on my decade old well waxed pair (which I was skeptical could be made to look reasonable again) it has properly shined them up and undone the harm I've likely caused by over waxing over the years. Super easy to use, actually really effective. Don't be like me - get yourself one of these and treat your expensive boots right.

Very good brushes for cleaning dirty shoes and boots. The bristles are standing up well and the pointed end is useful for removing mud and stones. Recommended.
