Transcend MTE300S M.2 2230 PCIe Gen3x4 512GB

I bought the 512Gb version to replace the 64Gb drive in my Steam Deck. Swapping was easy but you’ll need a spudger or guitar pick to pry the back cover off the deck after unscrewing. I went for this drive because it’s 1.5a. I’ve read some people saying the higher amp 1Gb and 2Gb drives run hotter *possibly* shortening the life of the deck.

I tried many PCIe M.2 2230 NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 SSD. I could not load the OS on to it. It kept crashing. I bought Transcend and I could load windows 11 Pro and all surface related driver. It's been more than year it's working without any hiccups.

Aunque tenía buenas referencias de sus memorias, no acababa de fiarme de la marca para un SSD M2. Pero al final cedí por el buen precio y la verdad es que de momento va perfecto. No solo se nota el obvio aumento de capacidad respecto al eMMC de 64GB que llevaba mi Steam Deck de fábrica, sino que se nota más rápida, tanto al cargar el sistema o los juegos, como al descargarlos de internet y instalarlos.

Bought this for my Steam Deck. Worked like a charm, I've had zero issues.

メモリが今価格がヤバいことになっていて、SSDも今後価格バクアゲ予想ということで、慌てて購入。 格安品によくあるQLCのゴミではなく、ちゃんとTLCで良かった。 thinkpad E14が2242だったけどアダプターつけて装着。 しっかり新品サーマルパッド使って装着して、動作も安定しています。 ベンチ走らせても上が52℃くらいなんで大丈夫でしょう。 しかしサムスンが高嶺の花になるとか、こんな時代になるとはほんの10年前には想像すらしていませんでした。
