I won one of these in a competition and although I have used it a couple of times I am struggling to find a use for it. I suppose if I hadn't got much space and wanted to grow a few salad crops in the kitchen window of a flat it would be ideal. However I have a large garden and plenty of room to propagate seeds and grow on crops. I must admit I was very worried about using the LED grow light overnight as it got very hot very quickly! The alarm for replenishing the water is handy but no way justifies paying between £50-£60 for this.
