Such a cracking little radio had to make contact because mine had the incorrect charger included but made contact with the company and they were so helpful and sent me a replacement charger features are well thought out and easy to use programming via a laptop or pc using chirp is easy PLEASE DONT USE BEFORE PROGRAMMING WITH UK FREQUENCIES unless you’re licensed to use them this is my go too radio at the moment and have over 35ish ranging from yaesu to baofeng

Excellent little transceiver for the price.

Cheap packaging, feels cheap and light, not much to this radio, volume is on Max but its very quiet sounding. Buttons clunky and don't feel great. get a antenna not worthy to be called an antenna! not happy with this cheap junk! Only good thing about it is you can mod it with custom firmware thats it!

The Radtel Model RT-890 is a rather nice compact size transceiver at a very affordable price . The transceiver is constructed from good quality ABS materials , the screen offers an excellent TFT colour information that is clear and readable . The transceiver operates very well on transmit & receive . The down side to the Radtel RT-890 is that it's furnished with a low capacity 11mAh battery requiring frequent charge cycles , other downside factors are , the belt clip hinge is constructed from nylon rather then steel and more importantly the channel scanning mode does not resume scanning , it simply remains on the receive channel .

Not very loud on air band, the primary reason I bought the set. I’ve tried several antennas, locations and I live quite high up a hill and have no trouble getting air band loud and clear on other rigs I own. 70cm and 2metres work well and FM is loud and clear with the sound from the set being better than average. However, I bought this rig as a shirt pocket radio and the air band was something I was looking forward to using. I may have got a one off rig that’s not been tuned properly from the factory but I can’t see this one being used as it was intended. Alas, it’s way to quiet and there is so much background noise you struggle to make anything out from any received transmission and once you put the squelch on to lower the background noise it really does become very, very feint. Without the a.m. reception it’s just another Bao..ng……..very disappointed RADTEL.

Excellent radio! For the money I purchased them for, your expectations would be pretty low, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and it's user friendly design, the battery is efficient and long lasting for light users.

The Radio works fine But the base charger supplied in the box. The radio does not fit base charge so i can not charge radio. Please send me correct base charger and please also make sure it has UK plug fitted. Thank's very much. Dave.

Nice clear sound not bulky and really easy to operate would recommend this radio

Très jolie au premier abord mais vite déçu car la réception est beaucoup moins sensible que le 470 ? J'ai les deux branchés à côté de l'autre avec la même antenne et ce 890 déclenche quand il veut bien le squelh beaucoup trop tard donc on rate la moitié des QSO et l'écoute en aviation AM très mauvaise , vraiment déçu...... J'ai dû racheter un 470

Ricetrasmettitore versatile ed aperto a tutte le sperimentazioni, grazie ai software "alternativi" che è facile reperire in rete, si estendono le funzioni con la ricezione in ssb, si amplia la gamma in ricezione da circa 18 mhz fino a 1200, si trasforma facilmente in un ricevitore panoramico, con una bellissima interfaccia grafica completa di waterfall, che è ben visualizzata grazie allo schermo a colori molto luminoso. Vorrei anche sottolineare la grande disponibilità dello staff tecnico, per l'assistenza post-vendita : per un mio errore non avevo effettuato il backup di alcune impostazioni che vengono eseguite in fabbrica, dopo aver inviato una email, ed alcune foto di WhatsApp sui loro recapiti di assistenza, citando il numero di matricola della mia radio, e spiegando il mio problema, nel giro di soli due giorni mi è stato inviato il software necessario, assieme alle istruzioni, per ripristinare la radio esattamente come nuova. E questo (a mio avviso) non è poco. Chapeau !
