In Korean beauty industry, NEOGEN's products are in mid-price range product. I really like some of their products like the hold Black Volume cream, or their Cica Snail line. Now, they brought up high concentration serums in multiple active molecules with high concentration and I really love it. So here is what I think. (P.S. I am reviewing 2% retinol serum)Ingredients:I don't know why they somehow underwrite their retinol concentration, yet it contains 2.36% of retinyl palmitate (a retinol derivative developed by another Korean company Amore Pacific.) They also small amount of retinol, but it's practically negligible so it's doesn't really matter. Other than this, it does contain many long chain alcohols, fatty acids and some polymer for texture, along with BHA and some minimal but lower concentration. It's pretty fine ingredients but it contains BHT, which is not a specifically preferrable preservative, with EWG grade of 5 due to the immunotoxicity issue. As long as you don't have reaction in a low concentration, it's not super dangerous or whatsoever, but it could be easily replaced with other safer ingredients, so it's slightly disappointing.Texture:It has milky serum texture, as you can see from the the picture, it has emulsion like consistency. I cannot say it's watery, due to the fatty acids and other thick polymers yet it sits on skin extremely well and leave the skin surface pretty matte (and ironically dewy) and inside very moisturized. It has those typical luxury brand texture, which is hard to find in reasonably priced products.Effectiveness:Actually, we know the retinol is effective for wrinkle, skin-texture and dullness and this product works very well. I used this for a week, and every morning I feel my skin is very dewy and radiant at the same time. I cannot say much about for the deep wrinkles around marionette line, yet fine lines definitely look less obvious.Something to know:Most of the retinol based products are not very mild, and I believe this product will make tingling sensation or in worst case scenario, redness. I don't have these issues, but some of my friend "felt burning" but went away quickly. It's pretty common for high concentration retinol, so be aware of it before you buy, and if you never used retinol previous, use somewhere invisible just in case.Scent:This doesn't have any fragrance inside, which is good thing. It smells slightly acidic, yet I don't think it's bad.Final Thought:I wish I could give 4.5 star due to the BHT, but still, it works wonder if your skin can tolerate this.

There aren't that many 2% non Rx retinol serums on the market so when DERMALOGY by NEOGENLAB Real 2% Retinol Serum for Face with Retinol and Retinol Derivatives for Anti-aging and Firming & Tightening Serum for Weak Skin, Uneven Skin texture, Improvement Skin Elasticity 30ml/1.01 FL.oz popped up on Vine I grabbed it.It has a sort of light, milky pudding scent, not at all unpleasant. It quite thick but creamy and rich and feels lovely on the skin. I only use retinol products in the evening.It is made in Korea which probably the biggest beauty producing country in the world, seems nearly all our serums and makup is coming out of Korea and many are so affordable.That being said, at it's current price of $38.00 you most probably can find a comparable product for much less.

I have to say that retinol and AHAs are the backbone of my skincare routine. However since I get skin sensitivity, I make sure to alternate use of retinol/AHAs with other things like peptides and other hydrating non-irritating serums.Knowing my skin sensitivity, I started using this every other day. This contains mostly retinol palmitate which is a less irritating form of retinol. As a result, I experienced no irritation or skin sensitivity. That being said I still used it at night and I made sure to use sunscreen on the morning following use. This seems to work just as well as my other retinol products, I also appreciate that it isn't highly scented.

Firstly this smells good, light floral smell which is awesome considering it goes on your face.It’s a bit sticky but not overly annoyingly so, if you’re very sensitive to something like this you might not like the stickiness.The serum is thick and not too runny which I like a lot and it’s very smooth on the skin, dries quickly as well. Given that it’s a little sticky, this needs to be a night routine and not something you can use in the morning. I can’t speak to its anti-aging benefits as I have not used it long enough (it’s only been 10 days) but I’ll update if it ends up being the new holy grail.

I liked this product, and I enjoyed using it over the last several weeks. It makes it easy to work retinol into my nightly skincare routine. It's simple to use, and although you can experience dryness and peeling with retinol, I haven't had those problems. Unfortunately, however, while I have done quite a bit of research to try to ascertain Neogen's cruelty-free status, I haven't been able to get any clear answers. Some sources confidently declare that Neogen is a completely cruelty-free company, while most of my regular resources warn against purchasing Neogen products specifically because they are involved in animal testing in some form or another. (Even if they don't directly test on animals themselves, they may work with a supplier who does, or they may pay some third party to do their dirty work for them.) And for real, y'all...I searched. I checked my favorite websites and organizations to see what they knew about this brand, but for every 'yes, cruelty-free' I got, I found two or three 'nope, they test on animals'. It's ambiguous, at best. So for now I will give Neogen the benefit of the doubt and this product a middlin' three stars, and I urge Neogen to work with a certifying organization to make it clear, once and for all, whether or not they are involved in the ridiculously unnecessary torture of innocent cats and rabbits. No recommendation for now.

初めて使ったレチノールがこれ！そのあとスキンアンドラボに浮気したけど肌のハリはネオゲン！翌朝のハリが違う！まだ他にもいろいろレチノールはあると思うのですが、A反応出なかったから、これはリピ！目の下のたるみに効いた！

製品自体は問題なく使用出来ています。日の光に弱い成分のため容器が茶色いのもポイント高いです。個人的に大変というか毎度使う度に思うのが匂いが臭くて仕方ないです。仕方ないけど。成分的に問題ない範囲で香料入れてくれると嬉しいかも。
