Looks s really interesting book which i will start soon after i have finished the other on true ghost stories

Standard stuff. Author tries to take off the dark edge with slightly sardonic final comments on each story. Good overview of weirdness covering old and new phenomena.

This is a very interesting book about the supernatural and the adult you'd be amazed what facts are in this book sometimes I find it very funny sometimes it is very haunting see what you think the book is worth every penny

Having purchased this recently in a supermarket, I was drawn in by the title.Whilst the stories inside are fascinating, the way in which the book was written was rather monotonous and repetitive. Some things were exaggerated but didn’t produce the desired affect, with some of the stories seeming slightly inaccurate (don’t get me started on the story of Medusa…).I feel like sometimes, non-fiction books such as these shouldn’t be written in a descriptive way (in other words, report facts and save the theatrics for fiction).I also feel like the book could be enhanced with some images relating to the stories to make it more engaging. Some stories felt rushed, almost as if they should’ve been omitted rather than take up a page.
