Purchased this radio holder as an easy but effective method to holding a radio. Once the radio is clipped on, it does not move. The only complaint I have is that the release buttons are on the sides of the holder and if other equipment hit those buttons, it tends to come off of the duty belt. Other than that minor issue, it is worth the money and fits well on a 2" belt. Quality is great for the price

Update: Received a replacement with a new locking system, works perfectly now. 👍 It seems that the "On - Off" lock is defective on the one I received. The concept is a great idea, however with the lock not working, it renders the product useless for my needs out of concern for the increased probability of my radio becoming loose while on-duty. The lock function is the sole reason for my low rating, as a diminishes functionality. Taking everything into account, like value, material durability, and stability, if the lock function worked, this would most likely be a five-star for me.

Bought this about a year ago. Ran it on my duty belt for about a month, while walking around, I felt my radio fall. The whole bar holding the radio cracked from just holding a radio. Wouldn’t buy again

REALLY GOOD FOR TAC BELTS WHEN YOU HAVE TO CARRY YOUR RADIO AT ALL TIMES.

I work at a juvenile detention center and bought this to keep my radio from flying all over the place when we have to restrain someone. All in all it’s a decent product. The string that’s made to help hold the radio in place didn’t work super well for me and my job. I need to get my radio out in a hurry on most occasions and having the string around it made it hard for me to do that. It definitely keeps the radio secure, but then again makes it hard to release during an emergency. If your radio primarily sits in your belt then this is a great addition for keeping it secure. Even without using the string and just clipping it on the holster, my radio stays pretty secure. Aside from the string, my only real critique is due to my job itself. Because of where I need to place the holster on my belt, wearing this makes it harder to bend over and sit down. I would say just be mindful of where you place the holster.

After several months of using this, i absolutely love it. Nice and secure i can quickly remove my radio when needed. It's very comfortable on my belt. The selling is amazing as well. I failed to completely secure the latch and lost my belt securement bar. I asked if I could buy just the bar and the seller without hesitation sends me a brand new one for free. I strongly recommend this!!!!

Good quality clip but did not fit my radio at my work.

Great for easy access to my radio when my shoulder mic broke and work wasn't able to get a replacement. Held my radio securely

Previously I wrote that this was an effective product, I am now changing my review. The product is NOT durable, it broke and did not even last a month, I work as paramedic on an ambulance and while lifting squatting and bending it falls off or the radio will fall out and it actually fell apart while lifting casing the radio to drop while I was handling a stretcher. I would absolutely not recommend this product if your job requires anything more than minimal movements.

Sits on a 2" duty belt well. Holds radio well, the elastic strap works well and it has a rubber grip to keep it from moving. However, when running or during a physical altercation, a radio can fall off quite easily.

Works for my needs but I wish the part the clip went over was a bit thicker and longer vertically to reduce radio movement. Overall great for lighter radio models.
