So much information, all gathered together! Easy to use, quite wonderful, in my opinion.

Beautiful book. Very useful for finding all correspondences for whatever your trying to do. Makes it easy to know what you need for your rituals.

The author is extremely thorough and crammed so much vital information in this book. I cannot believe it. I ordered it due to a book review on YouTube and I absolutely love love love it

This is a must have for anyone that's pagan, witchy, and/or wiccan. I love it, especially when I'm crafting something with herbs or crystals for specific spiritual purposes! This book is easy to use and great for anyone whether you're new or a seasoned witchy person.

Correspondences are meant to help us represent our intentions in ritual/ spell work and in receiving messages from other realms. The important rule about using correspondences correctly is that you choose what each correspondence means to you personally and that you truly believe the connection. As well as working with correspondences you are very familiar with.For example, the image I posted shows highlighted words under the color green. Colors are extremely important to me. I am an artist and am highly effected by color. Green is my favorite color so I started highlighting this first in my book.If you notice, I did not highlight everything. This is because either I am unfamiliar with the correspondence between Green and the non-highlighted words, or I do not agree with the correspondence personally. Like the phrase “green with envy”. This means people associate green with envy or jealousy. The phrase is known to possibly come from Shakespeare and while Shakespeare may have believed green was associated with envy or jealousy or evil, I do not at all associate green with any of those words.Similarly, I have added words that Green represents for me. Like “Capricorn” because it is an Earth sign and Capricorn’s tend to be balanced and grounded which Green represents all of those words for me. Also I am a Capricorn and I love green!I suggest whoever buys this book to do the same. Correspondences need to have meaning to you or else the spell or ritual or universal messages will have zero intention. Start with the things you’re drawn to the most that highly effect your senses. Any favorite animals, colors, herbs, minerals, etc. Ask yourself why you’re drawn to these things and how they make you feel inside, what they represent to you. Just because someone says the opposite, doesn’t make it true for you.One person may see wolves as evil and correspond them with the color red or black. Whereas others may see the wolf as something wise and grounded and correspond them with the colors brown and green.The thing about working with the universe is that it is all about YOUR intentions. I encourage everyone to remember that this book is just a guide with a wide spectrum as to what is believed to correspond one thing with another thing. It would not make sense if one thing represented all of its correspondences in the book at once.The more basic you keep your intentions, the easier it will be for you to receive and put out messages. Just make sure you believe fully in your understanding of each correspondence.UPDATE:I have now had this book for almost two years. It has so much knowledge in it that it’s worth 10 books to me. It is a huge book!It is much more correct than most of what you will find on the internet. This book holds true to what it is intended for.My suggestion is, when you have an intention, look under the corresponding words for example ‘Abundance/Prosperity/Money/Wealth’. Look up every word and find the similar things they have in common. Like Pine, Honeysuckle, Jade, Citrine, Gold, Green .. etc. and use those matching correspondences to create your spell.This book is truly my favorite book I own and it has an enormous amount of knowledge that I can hardly keep up with. I am forever grateful that I made this purchase!

Very comprehensive book of magical correspondences. Herbs, stones, astrology, elements... also organized according to themes like protection or inspiration, which is very handy for magic workers. Great reference volume!

I bought this book as I wanted something that was handy for checking correspondences for substitutions or creating my own rituals. On the positive side, it's a BIG book and each entry covers a list of correspondences, such as: Planetary association, elements, deities, tarot cards, animals, and the uses for that herb, crystal, rune, etc. Most of it is useful information.HOWEVER, I have a few issues with the book to where I can't give it five stars.1. ORGANIZATION (User Friendliness).I hate the way the plant and animal kingdom sections are organized. They are broken down into sub-categories such as Trees; Herbs, Garden Plants and Shrubs; Miscellaneous Plants; Animals; Birds; Marine Life; Reptiles; Insects and miscellaneous; Mythical Creatures.This book forgets that many people who will use it are not herbalists. So, if you don't know that a certain plant is a root vs. an herb, you will go looking in vain for it and wonder why you don't see it. In the few days I've had the book, I waste a lot of time flipping around trying to find what I'm looking for because of the way it's organized. You have to know what type of plant it is to go and find it. For animals, you've got to either flip around the pages or go back to the table of contents to remember where the bird section is vs. the reptile section, etc.If the index were usable, this would be much less of a problem. The index is basically organized the same way that the book is organized, so it's got the same hierarchy where you have to look under Plants, then find herbs or trees to find the list in that section. Why didn't they just put EVERYTHING alphabetical so if you're looking for something specific, you can find it easily???? This is a big flaw in the organization for me.My ADHD brain doesn't work the same as the author's and I just want to open the book and go right to the entry for Agrimony or for Ravens or Onyx. I want to go look up things I have in my inventory and see if I can use it as a substitution or to design my own ritual ingredients.I just don't find the index to be easily useable. I wish I could just take apart the book, make it spiral bound, add tabs, and make everything alphabetical within each chapter and not have all of these sub categories.2. MISSING / INCORRECT INFORMATION.So one of the first things I did when I got the book was to go to an entry I'm already familiar with so I can check what is in there. So I went to HEKATE. As a Hellenic practitioner who is devoted to Hekate, I skimmed through it and the first thing that struck me was the Animal section: Dog, Hare, Rabbit, Sheep, Skunk. Bird: Owl. Hmmmm. Dog is very accurate. But where did the rest of these come from? Hekate is associated with Dogs, Snakes, and Polecats in ancient myths. I think there was also a time where she appeared with a cow's head or boar's head, so if those had been listed, that wouldn't have been surprising. As for birds, I associate Hekate with Ravens and Crows and I believe Magpies are another bird connected with her. In the section discussing her powers, areas of influence, there is no mention of childbirth (which should be mentioned either under Hekate or under Hera or both), but neither Goddess has this mentioned.If you go to the Underworld / Otherworld section of the book in Chapter One, Hekate is not mentioned, but you do see Hermes in the male Gods of the Underworld. Why is Hekate omitted? She's the one who escorts Persephone to and from the Underworld at the change of the seasons and serves as a companion to her when she is in the Underworld.If you look at the Knowledge section, Minerva is mentioned, but not Athena. I know, I know. While they are typically represented as the same Goddess, the book lists BOTH Athena and Minerva in the Deities chapter. So if they are treated separately elsewhere in the book, why aren't both listed under Knowledge?As another reviewer mentioned, there are a few unusual rune associations in the book, though I didn't have as much of an issue with it as others here. But then again, that's not a section of the book I'm likely to use very much as I have a basic understanding of the runes already.I think the book overall does a good job with the Issues, Intentions, and Powers sections of different herbs and crystals. There are minor issues here and there, but most of it is good. However, you should probably double-check things like deity and planetary associations if that is important to what you want to use that plant or gemstone for.I feel like the author was putting together SO MUCH information that maybe it was hard to keep track of everything and the book needed a few more eyes on it as far as editing for content and cross-checking different sections to be sure the info was the same across the board. Many reviewers here have pointed out discrepancies in the book. I would still say the book is worthwhile, but you may want to double-check things like deities, planets, etc.

Love the book. Don't have to go to different sources to find what I want for my practice. Although it doesn't have every correspondence you'd probably need a set of encyclopedias to cover everything.
