Strong magnet! I bought this for my RV to save space and protect the knives. They stayed perfectly secure driving down the road. For my 10 inch magnet I can hold a large butcher knife, large carving knife, medium bread knife, and a medium and small pairing knife as well as a honing steel And sidenote, I did not drill into the wall because it’s an RV. But it mounted easily and has stayed securely with 30 pound gorilla tape

Very sturdy the magnet is very good currently holding five of my knives there’s no slippage even if the knives are wet. It looks great on the wall and it was very easy to install.

Not terribly strong but does the job. The metal strip surface leaves some play/wiggling with chef knives. I would not buy it again but it's fine.

Omgosh this is awesome strong magnet. Make sure your fingers are clean when you put it on the plate you screw to the wall. It hurts if you dont!!! Works wonderful for our medal kitchen gadgets
