Stop searching, this is the docking station you're looking for
I needed to replace my 5yr old docking station due to failing ports. The docking station that I previously purchased 5yrs ago was $160 and in looking at the most recent reviews of it and others around that same price range, there were so many negative reviews and comments that made me wanting to stay away from purchasing it a 2nd time. I stumbled on the TobenONE and even though the price was a little higher, overall the reviews were very favorable so I decided to give it a shot.Already having a docking station previously, setting this up this docking station was a breeze including a quick install of the display link adapter software.Details:Computer: HP SpectreX360 13” - Windows 11Using: 2 HDMI displays (1920x1080), RJ45 LAN, 3.5mm speaker jack, 4 USB ports.Pros:My previous docking station would only function properly if I plugged it into my laptop ‘Hot’ (docking station needed to be powered on) and I could only remove it from my laptop ‘Cold” (docking station needed to be powered down before unplugging the USB-C). While the power button on the TobenONE is a nice touch and works great, the best part now is that I can plug & unplug my laptop from the docking station without regard to its powered on status.Support:When you purchase a product you hope you never need to contact support but I did on the same day that I received the docking station. I was concerned that my laptop was not charging from the docking station as it was ‘stuck’ at 93% and the light on the side of my laptop was white (not charging) vs. orange (charging).I sent support an email on this without any additional troubleshooting on my end, to my surprise they came back ready to help me troubleshoot in less than a day with some ideas and a request for more information to help them troubleshoot this issue further. Before emailing them back, I decided to test a couple different variables on my end. In summary, my laptop was "stuck" at 93% battery and not charging with the TobenONE docking station BUT then I also discovered that my OEM power supply wasn't charging it either. I unplugged everything from the laptop, restarted and allowed the battery to drain down to 50%. I then tried the OEM power supply again (which DID work to charge it) AND I then tried the TobenONE docking station to charge it and that worked as well charging the battery all the way up to 100%!! While this charging error was on my end all the time, I was able to see how responsive TobenONE’s support team was to try and remedy my problem. Thank you TobenONE!!Con’s:This review wouldn’t be complete without at least one Con, I wish there were more USB-A plugs on the back of the unit (there’s only 1). It would be nice if all the plugs I’m using (including the 3.5mm speaker jack) were coming out the back of the unit vs. having to bring the plugs wrap around to the front, it would’ve been the cherry on top and made the unit look much cleaner on my desktop. With all this being said, function to me is number 1, if a product doesn’t work perfect 100% of the time it doesn’t matter how pretty it looks, this docking station fits this statement, works perfectly for me and as a bonus I know the customer support is there if I need it. 100% recommend.

Love it great buy
I’ve been using the TobenONE DisplayLink Docking Station for a few weeks now with my MacBook Pro (M1 Pro), and it’s been a game-changer for my workspace. Setup was straightforward thanks to the included 120W power adapter and clear instructions. The triple 4K display support works flawlessly—I have two 4K monitors and one 2K monitor connected via the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, and everything runs smoothly without lag or resolution issues. What really stands out is the DisplayLink technology, which allows full triple-monitor support on MacBooks (something most docks struggle with). I can extend my desktop across all three monitors, which is a massive productivity boost for video editing, coding, and general multitasking. The variety of ports is generous:• 3x HDMI and 3x DisplayPort give lots of display flexibility• 2x USB-C and 4x USB 3.2 ensure high-speed peripheral connections• SD/TF card slots are perfect for photographers like me• 120W power adapter keeps everything charged, including my laptop, without the need for a second chargerBuild quality is excellent, with a sleek aluminum finish that matches my MacBook well. No overheating, no random disconnects—just reliable performance every day.Highly recommend this dock for professionals or anyone looking to expand their setup with multiple monitors, especially Mac users who often get shortchanged with native display support.

Slick aluminum docking station with front power button!
Physical appearance and interfaces:I am an energy conservation enthusiast, so having the power off button conveniently located in the front is a big plus for me. The all-aluminum packaging and design are nice, giving the packaging a more solid build look. The built-in SD and TF card slots are a great feature! Now, I can eliminate the SD card readers and the accompanying wires. Finally, having three DP ports plus three HDMI ports for monitor connections is a nice option to have.Functions:I am currently using the TobenONE Laptop Docking Station, so I am comparing the TobenONE DisplayLink Docking Station against it.For system connection and setup, it is a quick and easy process once you have installed the driver according to the included instructions. It features the same plug-and-play capabilities with a reasonable response time to two monitors, one via HDMI and one via DP. I am still waiting for my third monitor to arrive and try out the triple display setup :)

Have a backup....but GREAT Customer Service
This docking station started out amazing. I absolutely loved it. Then in the middle of the afternoon it just stopped. a little over a week after it's not returnable. Customer Service isn't responsive, or at least it hasn't been over the last 4 hours. Amazon isn't much help either, since it's outside the return date.Update: I reached out to Amazon because of the newness of the docking station. They helped me get in touch with TobenOne, who sent me a new docking station within a few days. Their Customer Service was outstanding and the turnaround time was super quick.

Solid docking station supporting up to three monitors and external USB devices.
This USB C docking station was exactly what I needed. Using a single USC C cable, I able to easily switch between my two Lenovo notebook computer and a small Windows workstation, sharing peripherals (keyboard, mouse, and printer) and two external high-resolution monitors (3840x2160 and 1440x2560) connected via display port cables. The docking station also supports an additional monitor (something I'm yet to try) along with allowing for the use of HDMI cables as an option. The docking station has a nice solid aluminum case that both locks nice, is very effective at dissipating heat (an issue I had in the past with my prior Dell docking station), and that can be oriented either horizontally or vertically. All and all, I'm very happy with both the appearance and functionality of the docking station.
