Better than expected
Happy I bought this product, it is of good quality and not overly expensive. I weigh about 205/210 and it supports me with no wobble or movement. It has weight to it and the screws provided are of good quality. Assembly was very straight forward. I recommend using a drill or impact to install the screws as they are a tight fit and will wear your forearms down if using a screw driver. I will definitely be purchasing the bigger one next. I highly recommend this product.

Wall Sit safety net, not just a Jump box.
I need to practice Wall Sits and Sit and stand exercises. I couldn’t find anything around my house safe enough to practice these physical therapy exercises, so I took some measurements and this box works perfectly. I can also use the box for decline push-ups at the 16” level and for incline pushups at the 20” or 24” level. With that said, as for Workout effectiveness, it’s great and safe for what I need it for, and the design is good. Although I use the box up against the wall, the box doesn’t slide around because of the non-skid surface. The box isn’t too heavy to move around and it has cut outs as handles. I’ve only had it for a short while but it seems easy to clean. The price I thought was reasonable compared to other brands. For me it was easy to assemble and the size is perfect for what I’m using it for, I’m definitely not using it as a jump box or step up box as advertised. The Workout effectiveness is a 10. At the 20” height, if I lift myself up about an inch off the box, my knees are at a 90 degree angle which is perfect for wall sit exercise. At the 24” height I can practice the sit and stand exercise while trying not to use my hands to stand up. All and all, I think it was a good investment in my health.

Built a Box, Lost Some Blood—10/10 Would Not Recommend (But Also… Kind of Recommend?)
As a strong, independent woman with a manual screwdriver and an optimistic attitude, I thought, “How hard can it be to assemble a simple wooden plyometric box?” Spoiler: Harder than my thighs will be after actually using the thing.First off, the box arrived with approximately 147 different screws needing to be screwed in, each sharper than a toddler’s comeback. The instructions? Let’s just say IKEA would be proud. Somewhere between page one and bleeding knuckle number two, I realized this box may have been designed with power tools—or a full-grown man with forearms like tree trunks—in mind.Injury count:• One blood blistered palm (classic)• One mysterious thigh bruise (I don’t even remember how that happened)• One moment of emotional damage from the screw that WOULD. NOT. GO. IN.Eventually, after what felt like a CrossFit workout in itself, I managed to assemble the box. Is it perfectly square? Debatable. Is it sturdy? Absolutely—I’ve already jumped on it (after icing my thumb).Final thoughts:Ladies, if you’re going to tackle this beast solo, bring reinforcements—preferably battery-powered. Or wine. Or both. But hey, now that it’s built, I feel oddly proud. Like I birthed this splintery, slightly-off-center cube of pain and promise. And honestly? That makes the jump squats almost worth it.4 stars, deducting one for emotional trauma.

Use a power screwdriver!
If I could knock off half a star for assembly, I would. Not that it’s difficult, per se, but the screwdriver included is laughable for this job. Please do yourself a favor and start with a good ratcheting screwdriver or a power tool.Aside from that: this plyo box is sturdy, nicely made, and attractive.

Great product!
Very sturdy product, my clients love it. Only negative is that you better have a power screwdriver.Jason Lonczak@officialnythor

Worth every penny
Family member utilized this box while doing at home Pt exercises after a knee surgery. Building it does take a little time but overall it’s not rocket science, just match up the pieces accordingly and make sure the inside structure makes sense. Overall worth every penny and even have he completes PT my family member plans on keeping it as a staple part of a home gym.

Wonky assembly, sufficient stability
My official review is a 3.5 but there are no half stars. I agree with what others are saying about the wonky assembly but this is one of the cheapest on the market, so I guess you get what you pay for. The first 3 screws don't have pilot holes so it makes it difficult to get them flush. You definitely cannot use the "screwdriver" they provide and even a cheap drill will not do the trick. Once I started drilling the outside pieces closed, I was able to go back to the original screws and get them to close (after I updated my drill). Then, you have to be careful because you can bust the wood around the screws if you drill too hard, like you had to with the beginning screws. Once you start drilling the pieces together, you have to circle back and make sure all the screws are in so that you don't have any gaps in the sides. The screws look blown out once you get them in, so hopefully I don't have to replace them.I will say that it seems stable to step on. I did not try to jump on it but I felt stable and comfortable stepping which is mainly what I'll use it for. I am unsure about durability and longevity because the pieces were chipping during the assembly.
