Pretty box
Lovely match box. Happy to leave them on the table

Little indulgence
I have this box out on display alongside some of my candles. The matches are not only longer but also thicker than normal matches. I love the blue tips too. Little bit of an indulgence but I'm happy with these. Will probably look at getting another box once these are finished.

Dangerous and smell awful
The tip ignites without sparking a flame, so has to be struck again which is incredibly dangerous as it singes the box. When it finally ignites it smells horrible. Returning as they are awful and not safe.

Matches are poor quality
The box looks very nice, but the matches are almost impossible to light. They fizzle a bit and don’t catch fire then they are useless. I have had many people try in case I was doing it wrong but everyone had the same issue.

Best matches
These matches are the best I’ve ever bought with the added bonus of a great picture on the box. They light quickly and reliably. Perfect for lighting tealights and the log burner. I will buy these again for sure.

Matches stink leaving horrible smell
These are terrible. The box looks beautiful but is made out of the flimsiest card imaginable - marginally thicker than paper. The matches have blue tips as shown in the picture. Astoundingly some of them once struck either go out whilst the phosphorus is part burnt or burn so slowly that the wood part of the match doesn’t ignite. If the wood does catch they appear to be made of some sort of very fast burning wood. Compared to a similar length match from another brand, the other brand match burned for almost four times as long. But the worst part… the smell. They stink and leave a smell that lingers for a good 30 minutes. I didn’t think it was possible to screw up a box of matches this badly. On a positive note, beautiful box.
