Gefry Pet Food Silicone Bowl Mat FDA Grade Feeding Tray for Cats and Dogs (Grey)

Our aging 18-lb cat eats on our bathroom countertop (he doesn't really leave our master bedroom area). He jumps from a small footstool onto a slippery tile countertop. I noticed that as he was feeding, his rear legs were sliding out from underneath him, so he was just laying down to eat. I needed something to provide him with some grip and stability. We use a feeding stand that holds two small bowls and is on the bulkier side. This mat would almost fit underneath it, but then there wouldn't be anywhere for him to stand on it, really. So, I have this mat on the counter and right up to the feet/base of his feeding stand. I'm really happy to say it did the trick. No more slippery, old cat feet! He feels more secure and he stays standing up to eat now. I like that this product is really easy to clean, especially compared to some of the other options. The only thing I would change about this product is having it be just a little bigger.

I've had this mat for about a year and a half now and overall, it's been great. It helps keep water and most of the crumbs and food bits off the carpet, and I feel better knowing my cat has a more sanitary surface to eat off of. It's relatively easy to clean (easier in large sinks, while you have to manuever more with small sinks) and my cat had no issues adapting to it when I introduced it.Only complaint is that over time, the water bowl (probably mixed with food crumbs) has left a bit of residue that I can't get off. It's not really an issue except for aesthetics (and a bowl goes on top anyway) but it's something I thought I would mention. For me, it's not a big deal and I'd buy this product again if I need to replace the current mat.

I love that it keeps the cat food contained and the dining surface clean. One of our kitties loves to play with it and flip it and have some fights with it. We can not figure out what upsets her about the mat but it has sustained damage from her claws. Otherwise, I love being able to give it a quick wash and feel good that the cats have a clean surface from which to eat. Whatever spills out, they eat it off the mat. I do not use it for their water as the edges are very low and not suitable in my opinion.

Decent product but very flimsy. I thought it would be firmer than it is but that might be my fault for not looking into it very well. For the price I cant complain much. One of my cats like to knock over his food bowl and eat on the floor and when he decides he's had enough he walks away. With the mat its much easier to pick up his leftover and not waste any. Stepping on the mat doesn't seem to bother the cats at all so thats a big plus. (Cats pictured for scale)

This is easy to use & clean. The side barriers are like 1/4 tall, so it doesn’t keep dry much food INSIDE, it rolls on the floor anyway. Probably works better for wet/soft food. I have a wild eating dog who wolfs down food, I feed her off of a tray, but thought this would be a softer more comfortable material for my aggressive eater. While it’s softer for her, she can easily push food over the sides of this onto the floor. Otherwise works, so I won’t bother returning but won’t recommend for dry kibble, just wet food.

I wasn’t sure if this was what I needed- but it is.. I have a pug who slops water everywhere while she messily drinks.. same pug is half blind and spills it.. the mat contains an averaged size bowl of water in a pretty little puddle- which in turn invites the cat to come play in it.. works excellent for the average house with the average pain in the rear pets.. non slip, washes up well.. doesn’t smell too terrible like some silicone does.

This mat is exactly what you would expect it to be. It’s a great size. I’m using it for a cat. The bowls in the picture are about the size of a cereal bowl. It is water proof which is what I wanted as my dogs sometimes run into the cat bowl and spill the water. It was causing rings on my wood floors so this is a great solution at a reasonable price. It may be a tad small for larger dogs. I don’t think this would work for my dog bowls but for cats or smaller dogs it’s perfect.

It’s a nice enough tray but it’s very flimsy and has no structure- just a sheet a soft silicone. I like that we wash it in here dishwasher but because it’s the soft silicone everything on the world sticks to it, fuzz, dust, pet hair, etc even immediately after cleaned

Arrived rolled up but lays flat as soon as you unroll it. I tired using it under my dogs water bowl but it keeps sliding all over the place. When you try to lift the mat to empty the water it's too soft that you just end up with more water on the floor. Maybe it works great for cats and small animals but not for mine.

Too thin and too small. It doesn’t quite match up to measurements given and you can pretty much see through it. Not impressed, it’s about the size of a dish rack underlay. It’s SO thin I can wrap it around my fingers, if I tried, I could poke my finger through it. It’s like free packing you would get with something else, not something you should pay money for!Oh well, it’s just big enough to hold a dog dish 😳☹️

I found this to be good material however much too small to catch food or water spills. It’s also not large enough to fit two decent sized bowls. My pup has a medium sized water bowl and we wouldn’t be able to fit two of them on the mat. I actually bought a bath mat to put under this one to avoid water spills damaging my floors.

Perfect size for my small dog bowls. I have a 13lb dog. The measurements are as advertised. Those who rate low because it is small should really measure before buying. This is exactly what I wanted and a good price. A small lip around the edge will keep water in place.

I bought this mat because my 9 month old kitten thinks it’s funny to constantly spill the water from his bowl. I couldn’t believe that this actually made things worse! It’s so thin and flimsy that he was able to pull it and flip the whole water bowl over and make an even bigger mess! I gave up after one day and put the mat away.
