Great glasses not too dark comfortable

I disliked that one lens fell out of frame and took some time to reinstate. Otherwise are good to wear whilst driving in the dark, I find them good value for money, ideal weight, and reduction of glare from other vehicle lights.

These glasses are Photochromic. By testing one lens against the other in bright sunshine (one exposed the other covered then remove the cover) I found that they do go darker but it took approximately 1.5 minutes for both lens to achieve the same depth of colour. They are Polarized to some extent. The hinge on the temples have a spring which keeps them tighter to your head. However, I feel that these glasses are let down by the nose pads which are solid and uncomfortable. They would benefit from having floating nose pads which adjust to any nose shape.

Well made and designed, and perfect for going in and out of home to bright conditions. I’ve seen reviews saying they don’t work in cars with headlight glare - they won’t as they take 30 seconds or so to get dark enough with ongoing exposure to bright light.

Hubster loves them! Light, light changes quickly on them. Great for the money.

These glasses don't go very dark even in bright sunlight, I will have to buy just polarised glasses, photochromic does not work.

I got these because I love the aviator look and these were nice in many ways, I liked that they were very lite and they fit well and were comfortable to wear. The darkness was just the right amount not to dark in my opinion and it came with this polarized tester which I hadn’t seen before with any glasses I’ve bought, it was cool to see how it works and even more interesting to try it on other glasses, some of which didn’t seem to work with the tester. Only issue I had was one of the nose cushions was loose and rattled around as you carry handle them, I also thought the price was a little high at over 20 bucks for what they are but still pretty good shades.

I have a lot of sunglasses most of them are polarized. I prefer polarized lens as they cut sun rays bouncing off surfaces. I am in So Cal and I have strong sunlight most of the year. I have a metallic colored car and polarized lens are perfect to cut off the reflections off the hood. Wife tends to buy Gucci and Prada sunglasses and I tend to buy Ray Ban and Persol sunglasses. She goes for style and I go for function. I do not interfere as I have no idea of what is in style. Recently, she started to complaint about her sunglasses not cut down reflections. I checked on her sunglasses and all of them are not polarized. No wonder she complains about reflections. So, I looked for some sunglasses that have polarized lens for her. I want to get her a pair so she can compare. I did not want to get her an expensive pair in case she does not like the ‘Style’. I thought this pair from Amazon looks like some of hers so I ordered one. When I received this pair, I checked the lens and made sure they are polarized. I normally stack two polarized lens and rotating 90° to each other. This should shut off all light passing through. In the package there is also a little card which could be used to test the lens. Only seeing through polarized lens could the picture on the card been seen. Since I got this pair for her as a surprise, I did not tell her ahead of time. She actually likes this a lot. I was careful to avoid bronze and yellowish lens which she does not like. This pair is lighter than her other sunglasses but I would not call them flimsy. It just fits a smitch tight and probably would loosen with more use. Well, I know I did well as she is wearing it daily. I have not heard anything bad about this pair of sunglasses.
