Bliss Block Star Non-Nano Zinc Oxide Mineral Liquid Sunscreen SPF 50 | Broad Spectrum UVA and UVB Sun Protection for Face and Body

A wonderful product! I typically use a more moisturizing zinc sunscreen (Cotz) during Fall/Winter/Spring due to the dryness those seasons produce in my area, but for Summer this stuff is great! Applies like a thin water cream, nearly invisible but I do have very pale/pink skin. I can reapply easily if needed. No burns yet so it's 10/10 for protection. Gave it 2 stars for moisturizing but that's since it's not technically meant for moisturizing. All I need is a thin zinc during the warmer and more humid months and this fits the bill. Price point is great! No fragrance or extra emulsifiers needed for my sensitive skin. Caveat! If you do have any dry skin it will show up and pill a bit. To get the clearest looking coverage I recommend exfoliating (chemically), moisturize thoroughly, wait 15+ minutes to absorb that skincare goodness, then apply. Stay safe out there! Sunscreen is the best thing for all skin types and your older self will thank you later.

The #1 reason I would recommend this sunscreen is that it is easy too apply to the face / skin, including easy to apply to facial hair / a beard. It goes on white at first and then clears out; however, it will still leave a mild to moderate white cast.The #1 reason I would discourage purchasing this sunscreen is the container. Because the sunscreen is runny / more liquid, sometimes more than desired tends to come out when squeezing the tube.

I am a diehard Cotz sunscreen user however, Cotz is not waterproof or sweatproof so I have been searching for an alternative for the summer. I still wear Cotz for normal days but in the summer I take more walks and bike rides so I prefer to wear a cheaper sunscreen for those times.This stuff has a lighter cast than CeraVe - can't stand cerave, it leaves you looking like a ghost! I gave this stuff a good run into my skin and it's very faint. I will be alternating this with Cotz in the summer.

The size of the product would be ok if the sunscreen wasn’t literally runny like water. If it were thicker, a little would go further… instead, they take a product that already has huge margins for them (from a sale perspective) and rip off the consumer even more by watering down the product!Secondly, the smell is terrible. I don’t mind the traditional sunscreen smell. In fact, I enjoy it. It reminds me of all my times at the beach… this is not that. This is like… it reminds me of old lady perfume and cheap makeup. With it being on your face, you can’t escape the smell. I have had melanoma and need to find something I can wear all the time without this issue… I’ll wear this on my legs until I run out, which shouldn’t be long since it’s such a small amount.Super disappointed…

The bottle indicates that it's clear, but it's not at all. It definitely leaves a white haze on my skin, which stays there and doesn't rub in as it dries very quickly.I use it when I'm not going to be on camera, or when I'm not going out, but would use a tinted sunscreen if anyone were to see me. :) Still, it's 50 SPF, which is pretty great.

I use sunblock like a religion. This is the BEST and the price isn’t bad for what’s you pay for the expensive brands. Yes it looks small but it’s 2oz. That’s good for an excellent zinc and physical sunscreen that doesn’t leave you greasy or whiteAF. I’m pale- so it’s perfect for me. LOVE it! Way better than any other non-tinted physical sunscreen. Excellent for sensitive skin . It isn’t too thick. I use a makeup brush to apply.

Beware!! If you order you’ll end up with bottle that expires in 2 months!! I sent first one back because of this issue and I asked for a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement also expires March 2025!! Other than that I like this sunblock. No white cast and I like the easy to apply liquid feel.

I recently developed an allergic reaction to chemical sunscreen filters so needed to find a good mineral based sunscreen for my face and this sunscreen is amazing!! It goes on fairly white so you can see that you applied it everywhere and then just absolutely melts into the skin and leaves no white cast at all! It also has a really nice smooth texture and keeps my skin from looking greasy. Will absolutely repurchase, I wish they had a larger size.
