WOW!!!! I love this book.
Aww, you know when you reach the end of a story and you just want to keep reading because the characters and lodged in your head so deeply it’s like they are living there? Well, Porn Star is one of those books. It’s freakin’ hot and a steamy, sexy ride full of insights into the porn industry that no one really thinks about. It was quite a revelation too, for me at least in the beginning. We all have our favorite ‘stars’ but when I read about Logan O’Toole and how he had a social media account, I looked for my favorites on Facebook. I certainly didn’t expect to come face to face with what I found.Weirdly, my hubby knew about it. But, as I said to him. I did not know that! I was shocked and a little disturbed I have to admit.Thankfully, Logan is not based on him.No, Logan is a hot alpha male porn star in his own right… and he’s in lust/ love with the hottest, cutest smartest little femme porn starlet, Davi Dare. She oozes sex appeal and determination in equal amounts. The chemistry between these two is off the charts, in the stars as Devi would say. They had one scene together three years ago and both have been hung up on the other since, even though they never worked together again or really spoke either. Until one night at a party.Logan has an idea for a new type of adult entertainment show and asks Devi to help him with it. Devi agrees, because let’s be honest who would want to work with the star of their sexual fantasies? It’s all going great until their ‘real’ feelings get in the way.I don’t want to say any more or give spoilers, but really, you need to buy this book. It is so, so good. I wish there was a sequel.

Interesting book, steamy read with so much more !!!!
I really like both of these authors, so when you see a book called Porn Star that they have both collaborated on, I was dying to read it.Well written as you would expect from these two ladies, this book tells the story of the Porn industry and you get to delve behind the scene's and you learn a little of what makes people tick and what goes through their minds. This book is NOT all about sex, it is so much more than that and I really loved that about it. Don't get me wrong - the sex was scorching hot, well written and a complete turn on.Logan O'Toole and Devi Dare are porn stars, Logan is up there with the big stars, known to all porn fans around the world - he is one of the best. Devi mainly does girl on girl but three years previous she got to work with Logan and was instantly attracted to him and not just for his attributes !!Now once again their paths have crossed again and they are having to deal with their feelings towards one another that neither know quite what to do with in the porn world. The chemistry between these two characters was very potent and flowed in waves off the page. Logan is to die for in looks and actions- but for some reason I never quite warmed to his character, whereas Devi I loved from the onset. Her morals, her ideals her quirky ways and her hippy parents were a treat to read. The second half of this book was so much better than the first - I was 30 % in and it wasn't floating my boat at all, but this book and it's characters most definitely grew on me.I enjoyed the story, I enjoyed it being based around the sex industry and I loved the fact that it was so much more than "porn". But if you still wanted to get your buzz going, it was all there for you between the lines. A recommended read from me !!

Good read
I enjoyed this book. The story had more heart than what I expected, and the characters were easy to connect with.Logan was swept up in the porn industry and fully embraced in it's clutches, most well-known performer, running his own productions, an innovative voice and yet he wasn't a jack-ass, he seemed to take great pride in all aspects of his work and treated his co-workers with respect. He had a few moments of emotional clarity and yet at the same time I wanted to shake him for thinking he knew best about what to do in the future......it takes 2 buddy and communication is key.Devi is younger and not quite as caught-up in the lifestyle, she is at ease with her body and nudity as a result of her up-bringing and sex isn't a taboo either. She is comfortable where she is within the industry and looking to step out her comfort zone. A girl lost and looking for direction again there was a couple of times I was like say it don't bottle it up, but I guess when everything is new you put your best self forward and don't want to rock the boat. They have lusted after each other from a far for a while and when fate brings them together it is an emotional rollercoaster they have to ride while dealing with how to factor in their very physical jobs.

i love this book so much, its fun, flirty and got depth
Whatever you think this book is about, well it is so much more. This book was such a refreshing read, it was downright sexy and full of intense porn star moments but it was also fun and felt real. That may sound weird but right from the first few pages i knew i was going to love this book, and i was right. The inner monologues of these characters of Logan and Devi give us that extra insight into them. Especially Logan whatever he is physically he is like a deep ocean underneath. He knows he is a porn star, he knows he will not last forever in the industry but hearing him talk gives us a whole new level to his character. Devi is a refreshing character to Logan and his ways and attitude and the two of them together is hot. I will warn you these two authors have wrote a hot and steamy story that also holds much more to it than the sex scenes. It is a enlightening read into the minds of a male and female in the 'industry' who also find romance, and i would be intrigued to know what professionals thought of this book, for us mere mortals i just fully suggest you read this book and get swept along on the Logan O'Toole ride

It's More than Sex Scenes; It's a League of Its Own
I was more than curious when I saw this title. A porn star falling in love? It's something I would probably shy away from if it was anyone other than Paige writing it. I knew she would write a compelling, well thought out novel. These ladies have done their research! They've managed to capture the modern porn industry in a way that is real and not fantasy or idealistic. They touch on a lot of the current issues that are plaguing actors in pornography like actor consent and piracy. It really grounds these characters and their stories, making the reader feel like this could actually happen in real life. This is just as much a love story as it is a character building story. Basically, it is everything I love about New Adult. I want to see these characters battle their demons while falling in love. Is it an easy path? Hell no! And that's what makes this journey so enjoyable as a reader. This is a very sex-positive story (if you couldn't have guessed from the title). Notably, I like the focus it gives on sex in a relationship. I think some stories add the heat as a "fan-service" as sorts; like an expected feature to show character chemistry. But here, it is an integral part of the story and heavily influences the romance. Are these two really in love with each other or are they in love with the personas they are on screen? It's a fascinating question and one that is asked throughout the novel.

The epitome of smart smut goodness!
Part of the fun of reading a co-written book is seeing whether the authors’ voices are distinct or blended. With this book, I didn’t know where one started and one stopped. They were able to create that magic where the characters were just Logan and Devi and there was no wondering where Sierra or Laurelin were in the process. That’s a gift, my friends.Should I start with the sex? Hell yes! The sex in this book is the hot-hotter-hottest-need-to-left-hand-it-right-freaking-now kind of sex. Was I surprised that these two would bring the heat? Not one little bit. The book is about actual porn stars; of course it needs to be hot. I had no idea it could be that erotic though. Damn.Logan O’Toole is the thoughtful type of male character that you dream about finding in real life but worry that could only exist in books. Who could possibly be this smart, this caring, this awakened, this feminist, this perfect ideal? He was introspective and oh so careful to make sure he was treating his partners with the utmost care. Sure, he had some bumps in the road and made some mistakes along the way but Logan O’Toole might be the best book boyfriend you could find. He’s so dreamy! I love him!And while Logan is this dreamy perfection, Devi Dare is a goddess. Oh Devi! She is brilliant, and kind, and gorgeous, and feminist, and sexy, and I loved the pieces we got to see of her Farsi background. I loved her views of porn and her desire to work in feminist environments and her ability to trust her instincts when in a dangerous situation. She made many brave and hard choices throughout the book, more so than Logan. For me, Devi was the real hero of the story.Logan and Devi work together to film a reality porn show but how much is real and how much is for show? What happens when feelings develop and you have to reconcile f-cking other people on camera while the person you love watches? The whole idea of an open relationship fascinates me. Is Devi ok with it? Is Logan? This is where the book really takes off for me. The feelings they have on the subject and the eventual outcome results in a thoughtful, beautiful, wild ride.I would be remiss not to applaud the authors for highlighting the problems that still exist in the porn industry. Since porn has become so mainstream, we think it’s a mythical happy place of positive sex but there’s still a murky underside. As we saw last year, sexism still runs rampant and women are put in dangerous situations. It’s important to pay attention to which companies we are watching. Finally, thank you so much to the authors for giving me a small part in being a porn-star! And I didn’t even have to take off my clothes! It was thrilling! If you haven’t read Porn Star yet, you must! Go give it a 1-click so you can fall in love with Devi and Logan too!

Emocional e surpreendente
