Stoic Six Pack is an amazing collection of translated philosophical lectures I found very useful in my studies and research. "That women too should study philosophy" by Musonius Rufus was especially helpful in my case... "Which is more effective, theory or practice" was written so many centuries ago, yet is still relevant today. This collection of great works is worth five stars.

Seneca is a great antidote for the overload of cliches we are bombarded with everyday. For example, everywhere people repeat that 'Life is short'. He points out that it is long enough, if only we budget our time wisely.

The “Meditations in Verse" by Marcus Auelius and James Blake drew me to this collection. I found all the stories in this Stoic Six Pack 2 were well-written by outstanding minds and very informative. Great collection!

This is simply a marvelous collection of the wisdom of the ages. Stoics and others who are interested in this philosophy would be well advised to purchase this and read it from start to finish. Beautifully packaged!

Don't read "On the Shortness of Life" unless you plan to re-evaluate pretty much every moment of your waking life.
