Honestly totally worth it! A great cookbook.
A fantastic book for those new to keto! I’m so glad o bought this cookbook. It goes over what keto is and my favorite is the list of keto foods vs foods to avoid. So helpful!!! The keto tomato soup and keto bread are now staples in our home. Highly recommend the keto bread toasted and slathered in salted butter. Yumm!

Informative and easy to follow.
Eight chapters. Information about ketogenic diets along with recipes. Could use a few more pictures of complete meals, helps me see what it should look like. It’s got smoothie, main course and sauces, etc. Pay attention depending on the form of Ketogenic you are going for, some recipe information show net carbs and total separately.

A lot of great recipes - not a lot of pictures
The book has some inspiring and easy to make recipes. Great for preventing a keto menu rut. It also helps make meal planning easier.My only complaint would be the lack of photos in the book. The cover is the money shot and there are a few more photos but not many. I wish they had more photos to draw you in.

Keto Made Easy!!!
This book has been a blessing and has made keto easy and delicious. I sometimes add a few extra herbs and spices without changing the base of the recipe. Keto made easy☺️

Still testing it out
Many of these recipes are not low carb and have extremely high calorie and fat count per serving. I know it focuses more on carbs, but let’s not go crazy. And many of these recipes dont indicate what a serving is? A half cup, etc? I need to carefully count carbs and measure servings and was hoping for more information and recipes that accommodated that.

Easy, some pictures, and quick recipes
This book is wonderful. I have made 5 things from this book, and they have ALL been so good. Our favorite is the Root Beer Floats. This is a perfect starter Keto cook book for people that are learning how to dive into the Keto diet. I know a few of these recipes will be a staple in our keto diet every time we do it. The beginning of the book lets you know what essentials you should have in your pantry and what utensils too. ( I LOVED that about this book).

Need this for "easy days".
Apparently, I'm one of those metabolically resistant people that takes just a little bit longer to adjust to a ketogenic diet. I needed easy days when I was first starting and occasionally I still need them because I'm still adjusting to the diet. I've only been on it for about a month and I still have days where I feel incredibly tired and I'm still trying to get the hang of what my macros need to be for somebody with insulin resistance and high cortisol levels. This book can really help people who are just tired and don't really have the energy to meal prep using recipes that have 15 or 20 ingredients. A lot of the recipes are super easy and they're delicious. They are mostly all ingredients that you can find locally no matter where you live. Many are budget friendly. I also found the even if you don't follow the recipes exactly, this is more about giving you ideas for ways that you can pair foods together so you don't get bored while still keeping it easy. You can get some ideas on what flavors would work together so that you don't give up from boredom of just eating eggs and avocado everyday. I also like that the author often includes the brand names of certain key ingredients that she uses and that takes some of the stress out of grocery shopping. For instance, I don't want to be standing in the grocery store and reviewing the nutrition facts on every pizza sauce in the store to try to find the lowest carb one. She tells you which brand she uses and if your local grocers don't have it, you can always look to see if Amazon has it. You don't have to waste your time hunting around for one that tastes good and has the right carb counts. Not all of us live close to stores that carry endless options for low carb living so I like the simple ingredient lists and I like that she lists the name brands so that if you can't find them, you at least know what to order.

If you're going to buy one keto recipe book, it should be this one. The recipes are easy and delicious!
